  Please tell me if anyone else is finding this a problem, i have pasted my most recent complaint to WGT on here in the hope that other people will back me up with my complaint.

  Case number 00252786

  i am writing yet again about the above case.

  it seems since i put in a complaint to you the game play has got even worse. 

  I know to empty cache's and clean flash and everything else you said so the suggestions you sent have already been tried without making any difference.

   I can assure you the problem lies with you not my pc or internet as i am not the only 1 on here who is suffering with this problem and i am sure some have already complained and so you will no doubt be well aware of what is wrong.

  what makes it worse is as i was reading your reply to my initial complaint , guess what it kicked me out of the game yet again and disqualified me. 

  This has totally ruined my enjoyment of playing this game and makes me not want to play any more. I am very disappointed and think when people are spending money with you that you would be more helpful.

  I appreciate the sleeve of balls but i would much rather have a game i can play without penalty.

  Do you actually take any action when people make you aware of problems or do you just routinely fob them off with a pack of balls and hope they go away. Well i can assure you I will not be going away as the way i see it is you are happy to take players money but you are not prepared to solve the problems.

  how long is this problem going to go on for? since the new strokeplay lobby there has been constant problems with disconnections, i know this is not isolated as i constantly hear all members complaining about this. now it looks bad when u have a bad % due to this problem, and the amount of wasted time playing part games and the waste of money on balls that are used is making me so angry. what are wgt doing about this matter? and will i be given some form of compensation in balls? i buy expensive nike balls just to watch them used in wasted matches. i put in fault reports but never get a reply. plz help thanks

  All very good stuff...but.  When you do that and STILL get the disconnections when playing stroke with people from the club you can almost bet on a disconnection of one player followed immediately by one or more of the other players returning to the lobby, then getting the proverbial WGT message "We're sorry, there has been an error with the game....please try again later."  then everyone with that message has to close the browser and start over.  Several times this has happened repeatedly and on several occasions we have each submitted problem reports (which go to the "engineers" as Icon put it, and even sent emails to Members@worldgolftour.com and it still happens.  We are to the point now that as a round starts we bet on which hole it will happen on and who will be the first one to get it.  We have done what you have said Icon, but to no avail so I see it as a pointless endeavor now.  Several times it has cost us the greens fees on Cabo which we all submitted to WGT but nothing was ever heard by any of us from those emails, and credits were never returned.  

  Please, I have heard enough about system maintenance as I do that regularly and it hasn't helped this issue at all, and I have nothing running in the background either.

   ii could go on and on for you ladyjo feel your pain

  look this issue is affecting many players, and im not making mistakes. its the fact im spending money on balls for rounds that will not count due to an issue with the new stroke play lobby. i think u will find this is affecting hundreds if not thousands of players. why should i be spending money to pay for balls waring down with hits for games that may go 14 holes then not count due to disconection issues that are not my fault. yet it tells me i have forfeit game for discon 3 times??????? if i hit a ball into the water thats my stupid fault for playing a bad shot. but when u maybe -5 leading a game why would u forfeit???????? and this is happening to many many players if 1 player disconnects it will normally discon again and not start its a wgt issue since new strokeplay lobby

   

   

  Yes this is a problem...I do get irritated by the many comments trying to suggest it is a problem caused by my settings or computer issues,when It is not at all..all my settings are optimum,and all is cleared prior to beginning any game and is so with every game just to make sure..i have 60Mb fibre optic Bb,great comp,clear every cache possible,including online adobe cache and system temp,error files etc,also have game settings optimum and at medium quality,no avatar movements either,and only app running,including all background apps and processes...it happens in spells where it will disconnect me from a game a lot during a particular day,other days i have no problems at all..Played 5 straight Blitz games,and 3 skins games this evening,no problem with any of them,this last game,3 disconnections myself,2 other players disconnected twice,and 1 once,and 2 froze at different times...No problem this end guaranteed tyvm..Unquestionably a server issue..It is not the browser either before that old chestnut shows its face lol.

  thanks for your support i thought i was the only 1 but from this and other messages I have  received  it is obvious that it is a wide spread problem that affects lots of people.

  If it so widespread it cannot be down to the individual player or their pc/browser. it is about time WGT took notice and rectified the problem before it starts to loose players that may i add are paying good money for balls and to play certain courses without success.

  Last night the game was struggling to load and then when it did i got the dreaded spinning ring... it kicked me out and then disqualified me. This morning went on and got to the 8th in a matchplay before it did the same. It comes to something when you can't even finish a game not to say what it does to your %.

  I am going to give it another week or so and if it is not sorted i might as well give up and find something else to do.

  I am not the computer genius that many are.  Im just trying to have some fun and play this silly game, but I must agree with you ladyJo..All too often, during both good rounds and bad rounds, all of a sudden I am either disconnected or told that wgt has had a problem and I must close this window and restart...Well that is just fine, but when restart doesnt happen, and i have supposedly worn out a golf ball, I get nothing for it..In games with other players it also affects the percentage of games that are finished, and some players are reluctant to play with someone whose percentage of completion is lower, even if its no fault of their own...I have no clue how this problem can be solved, but hopefully someone can get to the bottom of it...We all want to play without having this happen..

  I have a question for you kayeman...... and please bear in mind.... I don't play for credits.

  How often is all too often?

  I've been playing for 2 years soon. I've maybe been kicked out of a game....I dunno.....say 20 times. 

  Now....lets say I'm a way below the average player on the amount of times kicked out.. I'll (x10) it and say that it's 200 times over 2 years....at most. I think that puts me around a 10 % of games that I'm forced to stop for at least an inturuption.

  Not a huge percentage of the hours spent on here.

  Easily 2000 games + (including bail outs when I'm alone.)

   I'm gonna take away the times I've been able to restart the group....say 100 times......and I'm taking away 50% of the rounds I was able to finish but had to finish alone  40   easy         for that (lowballing it). Now I've got .....what????......50 games that I got scre'wed on.

  That leaves me..... at a 2.5 %   or so.........sooooooooooooo......97.5% of the time.....

  ......all is beautiful here.

  Is my math that far off?

  Tonight i was play with 2 others and before we could finish  3 holes on St Andrew, we were kicked off twice. Managed to get a couple more holes played but was kicked off by wgt the 3rd time and told that i left the game so i was disqualified. Seems that you guys need a programmer that knows what they are doing to straighten out your problems. Or add more servers to handle the load. Tired of seeing the same commercials over and over again. Hope this won't happen again. I'm going to bed. good night.

  No more for you ;-))

  It's on your end 99% of the time......before I learnt how to configure computer to optimize WGT, I had all of your problems and then some !

  3 months of reading forum, trying out the advice, what works,what doesn't and 'hey presto'..

  Not been bumped from a game in 8 or 9 months and maybe 2 / 3 bouts of meter probs in all that time.

  Careful Alcaucin. If you tell people the truth they accuse you of sucking up to WGT. :-)
