The New Nike driver sounds terrible

  Apparently the noise was taken from actual game play by WGT staff......

  The head color of the driver, to me, looks exactly the same as the tour pro driver...about as much thought went into it as the bladz (all they did was turn down the meter speed of Burners) and the 'red' for English avatars..(just USA Ryder cup colors re-hashed imo)

  If you get the chance, save a replay so we can hear the sound.  I'm very curious what it sounds like.

  well, watching and hearing Rory Mcilroy hitting that driver I can tell you it sounded nothing like it sounds here on wgt.....thank gawsh

  it doesn't have the 'pingy tingy' sound, but still better sounding than an iron from the brush like it sounds here on wgt lol

  Thanks for posting links to the real deal.  Now if we could get someone to post a replay so we can compare WGT's sound sample of it.

  I let Pizza know that everyone who uses it says it sounds like a dull thud. He said he would forward it to engineering so maybe they will fix it. They said it's supposed to be the sound of the Real Nike driver.

  well apex, can you provide us a replay of a tee shot so we can hear it?  I've heard it in game and am starting to wonder if it's different for different folk or perhaps even different in game than in a replay, kinda like the flag being involved in a replay when it was pulled in game.  curious. 

  could you give us a sample?
