Anyone else have a brutal time with the TM GS putter (L35+)?  Just picked it up from the Pro Shop and it's ridiculously slow and seems to only go 70-80% of the meter distance.  Am I doing something wrong with it?  And should I assume there's no way to "return" clubs?

Get used to the club you have had it less than 1 day, you can sell it back to WGT for 25% of what you paid for it, clear you flash after putting a new club in your bag.

I used that putter until recently, but replaced it with the:

    TaylorMade Ghost Spider Putter (L66+)

I've used that putter for quite a while now and find it quite ok, and can usually get distances correct. What I do find is that on short putts you do have to add an extra foot to make sure the ball gets there but otherwise a fine putter.

Try playing just a par 3 a few times where you can tee off on the green and get lots of putts in.

there are way's to make yer own putter pal if ya want..

these ..distances are for level ground only... ya still have to add or subtract..some % ..for up or down hill...

allways add a tad ..just to be sure anyway..

    hope it helps ya ...

Ok, I get the picture...it's a new club, relax and give it time.  I just thought that new clubs are guaranteed to make you better immediately I guess...isn't that right?  Hello...?  HELLO...???  Why is everyone laughing....?

Thanks for the replies.  I'll give it time and let it "learn me".

Hi Weaser, I bought that putter as soon as I reached that level and still have it.

It's got me up to tour master and I'm not planning on changing it anytime soon, it's agreat putter.

There's some very good threads on judging putt distances in the forum, have read of them and practice with it, you'll pick it up soon enough
