i pulled out of the 3rd round because i thought it had set up the wrong green speed. in the forum it says tournement green speed but in the round it said champ greens ?????????

so when i then read the post before this one i relised other people have found this but of course its to late cant get back into it damn. ah well

This tourney lose one of the his "majors" !

I'm checking for the condition of this round, and I'm talking about with the WGT™ staff, who collaborate really good for the general fun.

However, I'm surprise because you are not a newbie of the webgolf...

In this occasion, I will change a famous dictum:

Play the ball as it is located.

Play the hole and the course as it is.

If neither of those two things is possible, do what is right.

But to make the right you need to know the Rules of Golf to think that the WGT™ staff (or me too, MarkOne56) may make some errors...

I hope see you on in the courses of the planned next events, Terbal.

I thanks all who are writing me a lot of messages reporting a mistake about the green speed.

I'm checking about together the WGT™ staff.

I hope that the possible "errors" be in future the minimum.

However, changing a little a famous dictum, I tell you:

Play the ball as it is located.

Play the hole and the course as it is.

I didn't know abt the fixed green speed. I don't know even the courses where we have to play. I just play what I find and I read the hints time by time. hoping to do my best. At the end I'll read the results. For me it's the best way to act, in order to avoid to be conditioned in any way. Sorry for you Terbal. See you next time. Bye

thank you thank you. just stumbled onto the 2nd round being open when checking our Marco's cool summary pages (was searching for green speed in rd 1 game 3) and got lucky.

I'd like to play every round but i think as a winner of an egg hunt I (and previous winners) should take a few rounds off.

I sent you an email about golf balls ........what a nice gesture!!! Thank you very very much, hunting is fun.

DUFFER, my compliments for the hunt. Tell me one thing that I didn't understand. U have just played the hole, starting from the link posted and where did it find it? How many time u played it?

MARKONE and TERBAL Abt the Championship greens of this round. Talking with some players of my cc, they told me that they didn't notice the green speed and played very well thinking at Tournaments speed, and I thought that I missed a couple of putt (one for eagle) by 1 and 3 ft. usually my putts runs a little over the hole. Maybe does it mean that the speed indicated was Championship but the real speed was Tournaments?!?! Bye

where did I find the link or where did I find the egg? I'll tell you I found the link in the text on the egg hunt page......I think it might have been a period ( . ) punctuation mark. Where I found it isn't a mystery, but I'll leave it to you to find......in the spirit of the hunt. :)

I only played it once, took me 3 strokes to locate. I got very lucky indeed.

as to the green speed.........was def championship (I bogeyed first 2 holes b4 I figgered it out).........doomed

That would be very kind of the current egg hunt winners to do... but it's entirely up to them.

I will anyway try to make it fair to everyone with the next hunt ;-)

No Tam, the indicated green speed was real, but it's a "little" error by WGT™ staff, who had not followed my instructions...

That may happen, when a team (WGT™ staff) works so much.

I had re-read my messages sent to that awesome team, and I suppose that they have been too occuped by their job to follow accurately mine indications.

No worries anyone: you are all Tour Legend and Legend tiered players, then you can't have problems playing the round despite that "little" error.
