I always joke with people on skype about how lame the updates are gonna be no matter how big they make it seem to be. Par 3 course is cool idea but im not gonna play it on practice mode. Who care bout averages anyhow? Seems the new trend is turn tour legned and never play stroke again unless you hit 27 or 24 so why only practice mode? Yeah i got 1 sleeve of balls but not worth it and ill be going back to my 71s unless they screw with them and make me buy these from now on like they normally do.

The more I discover on this update the worse it becomes. 100 credit stake for a hole in one and you get odds of 14/1 as payment. Are you guys serious?

There really is no end in sight to the blatant greed of WGT.

I'm currently 0/6 trying to get within 5 foot on the HIO challenge. Sensibly I switched to 10C stakes pretty quickly!

    Another "WINDOW DRESSING-update" from WGT.

Pebble Beach CTTH available now is nice but essentially it isn't new, just picked from the shelves again......give us finally a new strokeplay course please....

    Cheers, GC

Yep I'm sure there will be many players who enjoy it but practice mode only!

I think it has to be practice only, can you imagine what ranked rounds on a best of par 3 course would do to the averages.

Finally did it...and discovered that you don't get your stake back if you're within 5 or 1 foot; you just lose less.

So if you stake 100C and are 2 foot away you get 10C back not 110C. In other words weighted so much towards the house as to make it not worth the gamble.

Yep, just tried it on 2 holes, holes that I've never had HIO's on before....well that was a waste of 200cr. :-)

I must admit, I also thought it looked good in the update, pity they don't say, you pay for a chance to win credits, and will actually only win anything if you make a HIO. If you get it within 2 or 5 ft, you'll still be a laaahoooooooossserrrr.. It was very sneakily worded.

WGT,would it be possible to have a clock on the screen showing the time from your time zone.Being from Australia and having friends all over the world it's hard to keep track of times.

    Cheers   X

A few of us have been asking that for ages.

11pm pst is 6pm  in Melbourne....   I just had to remember that and work it out from there if there is another time....lol
