Just as I suspected. Nothing I can look forward too. That par 3 for practice mode, which I never do practice mode is pointless. All the rest is too, and that is the Elite collection that I have no credits for. LOL. Geez, is there going to be a worth anything update? Another disappointment.

The par 3 course can also be played in match play, Alt shot and skins. Not just practice stroke play.

WOW! An Iron course (Par 3), at last.  I suggested it on one of the many dream wish lists from a year ago.  There were many other important wishes on that list, but still happy for this one.

I hope it isn't made up of all of the toughest par 3 holes.  I would like to at least play par on it, once in a while.  I can't do that on a lot of the par 3 holes we have on our various courses.  Our nickle.

I got 3 birdies and 2 bogeys for my 1 under on 18 holes :) felt good cuz I'm horrible at par 3's.  Kinda glad they don't go towards stats too cuz my real par 3 avg would be adjusted a ton lol

My error, should have looked before I leaped.  This is a PAR 3 COURSE and not an all Iron course as I had hoped it would be.

Still finished the front 9 with a +8!!!, Seven strokes on one hole, couldn't get out of the 60% Fescue!

Gonna haft to wait awhile to build up my self confidence before I tackle the back 9!   lol. my nickle.

And the price of the new items in the elite collection is actually really good. I don't know how much golf shirts cost in the US, but in Slovenia any Nike shirts START at 50 euros (around $67) in retail (regular price, not talking about sales), so the fact you can buy one for 18.000 credits (with cost of overseas shipping included) sounds like a very good deal to me.

but all that NIKE merchandise has probably cost WGT NOTHING.  probably Nike has thrown in a few hats & shirts as part of the advertisement they have with WGT and using their name for balls etc etc rather than Titleist or another brand.  So basically I bet the shirts cost ZERO to wgt and its all PROFIT anyway

WTH does their cost have to do with us? It's their business and they can run it anyway they like. If I can get a shirt, that would cost me 50+ euros in a store, for 18.000 credits, which would otherwise be worthless, I'll take it and be very happy. The conversion rate is more than 100% better than if I bought a gift card.

And the way you're acting one would think your 150.000 credits actually cost you $1.500. Since we all know, that people who can actually afford to buy Elite items, did not get the majority of their credits by buying their worth in real money, so stop acting like you're paying for these items as much as that amount of credits would cost in real money!

I understood all the fuss about removing the gift cards and I fully agree you all have a legitimate gripe about their removal. I sincerely wish you get them back. But moaning about the new items is beyond me. What a friggin sense of entitlement, ffs!

P.S.: And just to put everything in perspective. You could buy 9 shirts with what you'd pay for a $250 gift card. Now tell me how much you think you'd get for those 9 shirts if you sold them online? My bet would be more than $250. Just some food for thought before you all jump off the nearest cliff because you feel you've been getting a raw deal ;-)

I wrote in a different thread YESTERDAY after a few calculations, taking into account the amount it cost for a $250 gift card - 165000 credits i could buy the elite collection Nike clothing 3 times over.  BUT If I had bought a gift card, I could buy the elite collection clothing 3 times over and STILL have $100 to spend on what the F'k i wanted.

Its the fact that WGT are charging us 18000 for items they probably got for free from Nike in some sort of deal where as with the gift cards WE GET TO CHOOSE WHAT TO SPEND OUR $$ ON, not forced to buy shirts & hats ONLY at EXTREME prices.  I could buy the elite collection for me and a few friends but I could also hold out a bit just incase WGT see sense and re-introduce the gift cards, then I could buy the Nike clothing without the WGT logo for the 3 of us and still have enough over to play a round of golf at St Andrews.  (does this make more sense now???)

I still bet that if you bought 9 shirts for the same price (actually 3.000 credits less than a gift card), you'd get MORE than $250 for them, if you sold them online. They'd easily bring you $30 each and they wouldn't take very long to sell out. Then you'd have actual cash in your pocket, not just $250 on a gift card you can only use online, if you don't live in the US.

But, like I said a number of times, I fully support the request that gift cards should be reinstated, even if the way things are now, people with half a brain could earn more real cash for their credits than they could before.

I think you would struggle to sell the Nike shirts for $30 with the WGT logo on them, plain Nike's yes, you would have to sell them at $15 to get rid of them.  But If you can sell them I'll buy them.  We can set up a WGT reject store

You're thinking like an elite player that you are. But imagine all those wannabes who'll never earn enough credits to buy one. You think you couldn't find 9 people willing to fork out $30+ just for the bragging rights in front of their friends? They'd be telling every one around they earned it, lol.

I've worked in a sporting goods store for 12 years and you'd be amazed how little rationality people show when they're shopping.
