After reading the comments in this thread and the announcement thread... well, I can see why Pizza's nerves might be strained from handling the forums.

Re-release Pebble Beach? "They never should have taken it away in the first place! WGT is losing touch!"

New balls with a little more feel? "Total ripoff! I can hit the ding with my eyes closed in a driving rainstorm! WGT is headed for bankruptcy!"

New hats/shirts/etc. in the elite collections? "They probably got them from Nike for free and just want a quick buck! WGT is nothing but greedy you-know-whats!"

Hole-in-one contests? "Nothing but a way to throw credits away! WGT wants to milk us dry and let us go!"

I honestly, honestly believe that if tomorrow WGT announced two new courses and a tour legend 300-yard driver, some people here would see it as more evidence of WGT's greed.

Well said MM.  WGT is a game to be enjoyed, run by a company, and if you don't like the way a company does business or the prices it charges....you don't have to use them!

Personally, I quite enjoy my time on WGT (well, most of it), the forums are useful and helpful, but I find all the incessant complaining rather tiresome and annoying.

Chris, Overtheedge, Druss, Alcaulin tyvm for your kind words re the video, I'm delighted it brought you all a few laughs. Believe me when I say, sad as this is, I was pissing myself laughing as I was writing out the script for it. It don't get much sadder than laughing at your own humour but it did make me chuckle :)

Absolutely! Without the forums we would all be lost pups,,lol. Seriously. The forums have been instrumental in the way the game is and has been played, manufactured  and developed.

On the flip side, IT IS a place to vent.  We all pay very good money to play and compete. IF FOR ANY reason we feel it necessary to "complain", or "whine" , then so be it. As many of us do - when I read into a bit*h and moan thread, I MOVE ON. Every single player / community member has the full right to "bit*h and moan" allll day long within the WGT froum Guidelines of course. Does it do any good? Sometimes, as it would any where else. MOST of the time, it goes no where. THAT SAID - this is WHY members bit*h and moan. It seems like 2/3 rds of the ligitimate complaints FALL ON DEAF EARS and it PISSES US OFF!

WGTpizza does what he can - its his JOB. It is Chad we NEVER hear from and PLEASE dont give me that garbage "he has better things to do" OR " he's a bit to busy to come into the forums". GIVE ME A BREAK. I work in research. CANCER research. I help my wife run her own business. I have a daughter in collage and a son on the way to collage. I have property to maintain, etc,,etc,,. Chad could very easily make a spot on his calender to at least once a month stop into the forums, CRUISE AROUND, answer a few threads. Throw some opinions out there. Throw a suggestion or 2 out there, etc,,etc. and then go back to his ohh sooooo bussssy day. We also dont need to hear he has tried to make an effort communicating with us through the LAME and WEAK ONE and ONLY broadcast. LOL! Boy, THAT really took off. It took off alright. It no longer exist. Or at least we don't hear nothing more about it.

I AM VENTING. Im sorry everyone. Got a little OFF topic,,lol. Stop by WGT. At least make the "LITTLEST" attempt to stay in touch with the people who made your money in the first place.  My goodness. Come on man. Step on down Chad,,lol. Can you at least stop in every so often and give a brief comment to some of our questions and comments?. Not only in THIS thread, but in some of the other more popular ones.  Not asking a lot here Chad. I know pizza does this but I think WE ALL feel YOU Chad should stop by as well. YOU Chad. We dont want to hear the "messanger" boy with icon and pizza. We / the community - want to hear CHADS thoughts, opinions, ideas, and suggestions.

IF the CEO of one of the biggest Cancer Research Hospitals in America can make the time and take time quarterly, to address his campus colleagues and employees throughout the entire day mind you then I am absolutely confident that Chad could make time to touch base with his "paycheck / community" and stop in the forums every month or so. Thanks everyone. Your friend in the community, Jeff

Did you play the course first time around before they took it away?

No, I'm a relative newbie (been playing since April). But why are the complaints louder after they do what you want? I don't remember hearing people talk much about Pebble last week.

After awhile, the dog gets tired of being kicked as it's being fed. Yes, we get the game, & some useful, working things, but the attitude, which is getting worse by the way, has to accompany it all. Take the kick, eat your food & shut up.  Great customer relations huh?  People been here a lot longer than me, & I now have been here long enough to see exactly what all the moaning is about.  We feed, shelter & pay for their families lives basically, & we get attitude back for it. Yes, I know the ad money far outweighs our contribution, but without the "millions" of us, there would be no ad money at all.  Now that's another story all unto itself to be certain. Millions--pfffft!

    well true

    hyena64:
There's the rub. Most often they don't do what we want. The community begs, screams & pleads for something very useful to the game, & what do we get? $1000 phone calls, 2 million dollar non-functional golf bags, $5000 custom avatars, speed boost, so you can have a seizure while playing, etc.

And then they offer us Nike clothing for 18000 credits ($180) when probably they've been donated to WGT by Nike for free as part of their advertising deal .  If the pricing was more REALISTIC & REASONABLE more customers would BUY rather than COMPLAIN.  Same with the new Nike balls, we pay more for virtual balls here which last a few rounds than we would for the same ball in our local golf shop to play proper golf.  How can you justify this to be honest?  Ever heard of the saying "he could sell snow to an eskimo??"  the clothing in elite collection is on the same pricing scale as the virtual balls and basically its like charging $1 for a bottle of TAP WATER
