Nah, it's more like $10 a bottle for tap water.

Some great points from you hyena64, your sentiments are ones I can relate to entirely, as they are the same as my main gripes.

Over the course of the last 3/4 years WGT has made some significant strides in introducing game ideas suggested by the community. Their communication has improved from what it was previously, hell we've even had the opportunity to fire questions to the high head one. A more caring WGT was evolving.

The last 2 updates have however seen huge steps made in a backwards direction. My overall feeling is one of disappointment. I'm disappointed in myself for believing that our opinions mattered and I'm disappointed that WGT somehow believe they have added value to the game with their recent Pro Shop additions.

And then they offer us Nike clothing for 18000 credits ($180) when probably they've been donated to WGT by Nike for free as part of their advertising deal .  If the pricing was more REALISTIC & REASONABLE more customers would BUY rather than COMPLAIN.  Same with the new Nike balls, we pay more for virtual balls here which last a few rounds than we would for the same ball in our local golf shop to play proper golf.  How can you justify this to be honest?  Ever heard of the saying "he could sell snow to an eskimo??"  the clothing in elite collection is on the same pricing scale as the virtual balls and basically its like charging $1 for a bottle of TAP WATER

You know as well as I do that nobody buys credits to redeem them for Elite Collection items. That would be like walking into an arcade and buying stuffed animals for $500 worth of tickets.

I don't even want to defend WGT. I'm definitely with you on the gift cards; I'd like to have them back as something to at least set my sights on. But people are throwing hyperbole around like confetti at Mardi Gras, and as a game developer myself, I just can't let it pass.

You're right mmyers0, but WGT has also placed these items in the pro shop at ridiculously inflated prices to get some of the elite players to liquidate their vast credit stores. I suppose offering something tangible for these virtual credits can be looked upon by some as a good thing, but I find it insulting.

IF the CEO of one of the biggest Cancer Research Hospitals in America can make the time and take time quarterly, to address his campus colleagues and employees throughout the entire day mind you then I am absolutely confident that Chad could make time to touch base with his "paycheck / community" and stop in the forums every month or so. Thanks everyone. Your friend in the community, Jeff

AND STIIIIIIIILLLLL - No Chad,,,LOL!  One thing I will take from this topic; thank my lucky stars Im not Chad.

btw; I was meeting with lawyers all morning because of issues with my wifes business. I have 2 other major obs later on, BUT I still took a minute to check in here at WGT. One thing for certain I have NEVER or WILL I ever witness a CEO of a company so blatantly BLOW OFF paying customers of a business he supposedly operates and over sees.
