For those who don't know do the following:

Please update your Flash Player to the new version. The old version has been hacked n  browsers are at risk.

To double check this I went to the Adobe site and also Googled for it. There are none for that version that I could find anywhere....

This may be the hack whomever it was on twitter might have been referring to, from Adobe Community .

"Understandably, the current versions of the Adobe Flash Player no longer support Power Mac G5 (pre-Intel) Macintosh computers, as even Appple has dropped support for these "legacy" machines.

There is available a hacked version of the Adobe Flash Player version 10.x that essentially fools a web site into believing the current version 11.x is installed.  This makes it possible for us Power Mac users to view Flash videos on YouTube and the NY Times, for instance."

However a big part of Adobe updating flash is to improve current security which is one of the main reasons I keep mine updated...

This gets more confusing all the time..

We're advised to use old flash versions and not allow Flash to auto update so meter stays consistent..

    It's a goddamn minefield.....

Sad thing is I read this thread and the possibility of my system being hacked, and thought..

    "As long as my meter's smooth I don't give a sh*t".  :-))
