Playing from the fescue

  I am in big trouble anytime I get in the weeds or fescue.  I've tried different clubs, aiming to the point closest to getting back on the fairway and other tactics but I never seem to succeed in getting out in less than 3 strokes.  Any suggestions?

  the best way is to use a wedge and hit out to the closest  fairway.

  It all depends how deep the lie is and how far away from the pin you are

  If it's a really deep lie 50/60 or above best to use a wedge like icon says . . . maybe even use a punch shot to get it on the short stuff

  30/40 or 40/50 you can use a 4 iron (or hybrid if you have one) and punch that sucker too
