Yep i agree. 2x500's and a 1000 would be cool. Maybe the 2000cr 1's did take a while to fill but we all knew they would take a week or so.

We're not asking them to be easy conditions but fair conditions are ok. Having heavy winds makes me avoid it simply because i may not get favorable winds compared to someone else. But moderate winds are ok and i'd be more inclined to stake my 2k on it.

Is there some limit to the total number of RGs that can be open at any given time?  If there is, WGT needs to make whatever technical change is necessary to offer more choices.

I'm sure that most of the players who would enter a 500, 1K or 2K RG would enter more than one at a time if they were available.  It doesn't matter so much if the one on Oly takes a few days when BOF or Cabo or St. A's is available in the meantime.

Some of the scores in the 54-56 range would have a new home, and the 100s and 200s would appeal to more players. And while we're at it, offering more low-stakes RGs would dilute the leaderboards in those even further, drawing more players overall.

More choices = more participation at any level.  More participation = more rake.

yep the 500-1000 always filled up in good time some times twice a day when you put it in percentage for the amount of players that will enter the higher stakes RG's they actually fill up faster than any other

    WGTicon:

    hi

we'd be glad to bring back 1000 and 2000 rg's if people would play them:)

last few took very long to close, so maybe it's some settings or something else?

I think the basic problem, is, that you feel you cannot make any cash out of tour legends, people you know have more then enough credits to enter these tournaments without spending a penny of their real money.

Hence you make every tournament low credit entry, so that you know, the average joe like myself will be tempted to just spend a little money to buy credits and enter these tournaments, however after little time, people like me realise with the obscene ball prices, we won't be able to make our money back and give up bothering wasting our money.

Its an obvious ploy and really isn't that clever. You end up screwing both of your key demographics in the process. All you do is prey on the weak who can't resist continually forking out their cash, but even they will get bored of it eventually.

I think Dave from marketing is gonna have to send some heads rolling on this one.

If there was high stakes RG's then we wouldn't bother entering the lower stake 1's and in the process would be leaving those for the "average Joe" as you say, to win a few credits in those.
