Quitting a game.

  I can only believe that many on this site have never belonged to a real time golf club.

  I've yet to experience one game where someone hasn't quit instead of playing out the game in full.

  Essentially the only person you're playing against is yourself and if you're quitting because the result will have a bearing on your overall score the only person you're fooling is yourself.

  For medical reasons I can no longer play a real round of golf, I can't grip of even hold a club but thanks to this site I can get really close. This site has done its job by providing the platform for me to compete, alas, some members believe it's more important to maintain their low score and that's not what the game is about.

  IF YOU CAN'T finish a game... don't start one.

  Four tries at playing with a group today... first three failed miserably.

  Final one the starter of the game bailed out because the newbie we were playing with was slow.

  The newbie... although he really hacked his way around was great company and was as proud as punch when I complimented him on getting a par. It was a good game, I enjoyed his company and dedication.

  For all the other miserable sods that quit because you weren't at your best or not patient enough,  you have my complete and utter contempt. You obviously have no concept of what the game is all about.

  Allot of arrogant BS.  THE GAME SUCKS.  WORSE THAN EA's TIGER WOODS Golf.  

  WTF  WGT, even when we get the perfect swing, we screw up. Recently, playing the windy courses, St. Andrews & St. George's, with an 18 mph crosswinds, I moved the maker all the way to the right of the green & screen, I get the perfect swing & the ball ends up all the way to the left & off the screen or I get no wind factor at all & the ball goes exactly where 1 aims.  Doesn't even come near the hole or spot desired, whether a 6 mph crosswind or 21 mph, the result is always the same, not so with EA's Tiger Woods.  

  And for the spin on the ball, we the user should control it like in Tiger woods golf game, not the GEEKs who made the one.  Its one thing to have a bad game because I missed the perfect thing, but this is completely different, it the game screwing me.

  Ever been in a bunker and the only way out that WGT gives you is a putt, because that bunker is considered on the green by WGT.  That's right, WGT did not let me change clubs or shot, ie, wedge, pitch or flop.  The ball can't move with this option. To be on the 18th hole with a -2 & then experience this gameplay scenario.  That SUCKS!!

  Was I suppose to take exhaust all my swings and take a triple boggy instead of quitting the game?  This is why I DO NOT LIKE this game, why I do not play with people like you.  Some days I can't do anything right days as it plays me; other days, well my best score so far is -4 on St. Andrews.
