    chris2345:
The new account receives a driver with can sold back for 150cr.

I doubt that very much....you won't be able to sell a promotional club.

    Speaking from your own experience?

Just kidding, I believe you when you say it could be done in the past, things are changing all the time.

I think we lost the intent of this thread, with our discussion going from cruelty to animals, to multi accounters. The original question is still a good one. Where have they all gone? As a retired business man I know that my repeat customers were my life blood. I'm not sure where the 6,000,000 number came from, but be that as it may, if 50% played one game and quit. that still leaves 3,000,000 if 50% of those played a month or less and left, that still leaves 1,500,000.If 50% of those played 6 months and left, you still have 750,000. We all know the number of active players is no where near that number.

As a business WGT needs to look at these numbers and do some soul searching. Riding the coat tails of the popularity of golf around the world, will only go so far. They have a great product but if its not managed properly like a lot of other great products it will vanish into the night. Instead of the staff meetings being about selling new products, I think it would be more profitable to spend that time on how can we make our customers happy and retain them as customers. If WGT retained only 5% of the 6,000,000 they would have 300,000 active members. Put a pencil to it WGT! If each member only bought two sleeves of balls per week averaging 300 credits per sleeve($3.00) thats$1,800.000 per week were talking Fortune 500 numbers.

The 6.000.000 is the number of all IDs that were ever registered from the day this game started. They include accounts that people opened just to get a free sleeve of Srixons in their own original account (just check how many L1 150 avg hacks there are), and all IDs that were ever closed by either players or WGT, or simply abandoned years ago. That's about 1.000.000 new IDs on average per year, but considering the average WGT life span of players, there should be anywhere from 300.000 to 500.000 IDs that are actually reasonably active. But that's just my personal opinion.
