    SHRUDE:

As a CC owner, what concerns me the most with WGT is their lack of concern for Multi Accounters.

I have personally experienced several of them who have not only tainted their name but personaly upset many members in our club.

It is very hard to kee track of these people and there seems to be more and more of them appearing.

    Q. Why is it that myself and others can recognise them yet WGT continue to refuse the technology to adminstrate them

    A. Revenue.

As soon as WGT shift their focus from greed money hungry revenue raisers without th contempt they have for their membership, the more their membership retention will increase.

I like playing here, I have mnet some good friends here, we all put up with the BS, we all see where WGT is failing, its not unique notions, it is common perceptions.

WGT are currently in the  practice  of false advertising,  capitalist  retail & circumventing international laws.

Their day will come, but unless their  ideology changes WGT will not  improve  for the majority.

Ok so this touched a nerve for me, first the multi accounter.

Why do some come here and leave, some come here with plenty of gaming experience, read lots, practice lots, have knowledge of physics, math and computer programming, study some more, read some more, practice some more, then chart their their clubs and balls, gather all the necessary information regarding wind and green breaks, all this work to get reasonably ok, then have some self proclaimed expert compare those abilities to their own wack fck style of play and declare unequivocally that person is a multi accounter and call them out in their personal country club forums and even put it to a freaken vote in some cases.Yes there are plenty of multi accounters, but not everyone who is better than you is and can easily be mis identified as such.

WGT Revenue. WGT is doing what every other successful company has done before them, it's common to extract as much cash out of your current customers as you possibly can, go belly up, re brand and start over. The belly up is coming soon. This game is plain far to expensive and takes far to long to gain the best equipment for any new gamer to consider staying with.

No they are not going to make things cheaper for the masses, they are not going to allow you to continue playing for free and in some cases at a profit, they are in fact going to perfect the program, the business and go belly up and rebrand. Next version will be superb, cheaper, and have oodles of players and WGT or whatever they call it will be floating in cash, and all you addicted trolling freeloaders will be lighter in the wallet.

And back on to the multi accounter, what exactly did the forum trolls expect to happen when you repeatedly and consistently requested WGT to move people up the tiers faster. I suspect you suspected you would have alot more players playing from your same tees at 20 and 30 levels below you so you could take advantage of them, well you were dreaming in technicolor.

Who plays for free??  Most players have to pay between $3 to $6 every day or 2 on balls so NO WAY is this game free.  (lets not forget the rake they make from ready go's challenge matches, equipment)

WGT seem to FAVOR multy account holders, why else introduce these level up boosts and all these max irons which have been introduced at a certain level and price.

"YES, you CAN Multy account, BUT IT WILL COST YOU MORE!"

Don't confuse credits for real money, there are plenty of ways to gain credits without the wallet for plenty of players here.

Furthermore and personally I see no issue with multi accounting, if it supports the game and the company it can only be good.

I'm not sure where the big so called advantage comes from, I know I would not play a level 92 tp for credits, and if you do, then you get and got what you deserve. There already was a perfectly good system in place to move them up if they played rg's, but moving them up because of MPC matches to protect the stupid is plain nuts. Stupid is as stupid does and you get what you get in a challenge match, all the information was and is readily available for all to see to make the decision.

Taking away someones enjoyment of the game so others can gain an advantage is plain wrong and it is no surprise to me, that change alone is causing a significant decline in players playing.

The change has proven that there is no gained advantage to higher level players as a result, with the only change being the lvl 92 tp will now likely kick the stupid lvl 88 legend in a MPC.

No one was more surprised then me that WGT even made these changes, playing Russian roulette with their business to appease the addicted and stupid was not very business savvy IMHO.

WGT could take a lesson from the tobacco and alcohol companies, you already have your addicted base, you don't need to make them happy, you need to focus on new customers and what they need to be happy.  And flying them up the tiers does the opposite.

And furthermore WGT you dried up a very good credit revenue stream for me in the MPC matches, the high level low tiered player was a perfectly good credit bank for me, and I want them back.

    RootsRo:

Here is your answer to where the 6 million are

    From http://digsitevalue.net

WGT.COM has #10 530 rank on the internet. This rank shows site's popularity. Lower rank means more visitors that site gets.

This website is estimated to get 16 280 unique visitors per day. These unique visitors make 87 912 pageviews. We estimate that this website earns at least $312 USD per day with advertising revenues so it can be valued at least $270 892 USD.

The potential of WGT is huge. The way this potential is treated is somewhat unreal to me. There are good starts made by having live web chats with us and having mods on the forum. This looks like WGT is actually listening. But by judging their actions their obviously not... Pay 100.000 Credits to talk to a CEO....... rly? Having customers pay to give you feedback and ideas? This is a whole new marketing concept to me.

Chad, you have still got the time to turn this around. In fact, i will gladly take an hour of my spare time and point you in the proper direction after you have payed me 1K Euros.

I still enjoy the game and can because i do not have to spend real money to play. I will not spend any money. Not because the game is not worth it but because the company is not worth it

It is important to note unique visitors.  That is described as a visit from anyone that they don't have a cookie on.  Subsequently when you clear your cache and cookies, guess what?  You become a unique visitor.

Unique users is a common way of measuring the popularity of a website and is often quoted to potential advertisers or investors. A websites unique users are usually measured over a standard period of time, typically a month. Use of performance indicators such as unique visitors/ users is controversial, with Greg Harmon of Belden Research inferring that many companies reporting their online performance "may overstate" the number of unique visitors. Remember, it's just an identifier of a computer, not a person. And usually, the computer is identified by a "cookie" which is most often specific to an individual browser on that computer. Since an increasing percentage of people in the United States (at least) now have access to a computer at home and at work or school, one may have to divide the reported total of unique users in half. Then another increasing fraction of people regularly delete cookies from their machines—presumably both at home and at work, and yet another large fraction use more than one browser on each of their machines. This means that for a typical news site, for example, which people might typically visit more than once a day to keep up with breaking news, the reported unique users might overstate the number of different people by a factor of four. On the plus side, for those wishing to impress advertisers or investors, the reported number of sessions or visits and pageviews are probably more accurate, so that smaller group of people visits much more often and looks at more pages than the raw numbers would suggest.[2]

Me too. Over a year and I've yet to reach in the wallet. I amass more credits per week than I use in GB's. Perhaps some of us are TL's at getting free credits?  lol
