    Just want to point out something that has occurred with my partner.

    He is a long time member at WGT and therefore has Beginner clubs, by nistake he played with one and we duly aborted. However it seems to me it is easy for soeone to have these clubs in their bag without it showing up when you screnshot with the mouse over your clubs and you are hitting say a 5 iron.

    It just says 'starters'

    Obviously if you were hitting your SW or LW and screenshooted then it would show.

    Puho has pricked the hairs on the back of my neck with his suspicious ways.

    No offence Puho, but I like to see the loopholes as well.

    I am a mechanic and have to think laterally a lot of the time.

    We have a slight problem with one of team "Unbalanced" scorecards and just so happens it is the back nine from what I can see of it. David made a slight mistake but all is good. He filled out the submission form way before he sent anything to me and I trust that is correct.

    So the result of the match-up between Bremskloetze and Unbalanced has been decided and team Bremskloetze moves on to the second round in the winners bracket against team Uneven Liars.

    Also in the bracket you will see that the minus or plus sign doesn't show. That is why their scores show the way they do.

    Edit: I have posted the front nine card.

    @ mnshiner: Whatever the problem was, I fully agree with you, that everything team Unbalanced played and scored is absolutly correct. There is not any doubt about that. These two gentlemen trained a lot and gave their best. I just have to say that everybody who has played a round here in this very nice tournament is a winner.

    @hyena: I did read that about your friend Barney. Without to know you, I want to tell you that my prayers are with you and your friend right now. May the lord take Barney`s hand and lead him to paradise.

    Sincerly,  Friedel

    <bump>

    Where is everyone else?

    I count 3 matches completely finished (i.e. 6 pairings), with perhaps another 3 pairings having posted screenshots, and waiting for their opponents... so I believe there are still 7 other pairings lost somewhere on Congressional, and still to finish today (which is the last day for round 1, I think).

    Come on folks, make sure and get your games in! The 'suspense' is too much for the rest of us... :)

    Exactly what I logged in today to find out. If this thing isn't going to stay on track, I'd like to know as soon as possible so I can adjust my commitments. Right now half the field is absent on the final day of round 1. Corwyn and I already committed time to playing practice rounds for the next round. Yes or No I need to know as soon as possible. Playing back and forth between my good sticks and the starters messes up my game. I've got some good stick Tourneys I'm committed to play and want to score well in my CC. Then my eye is on the US Open. It's now or never folks.
