As WGT would not pay for staff travel expenses to get to their office I dont think this comes into the equation,
What it does allow however is control, of what and the moderators can and cannot do/say as I do not believe that there is any autonomy within the role. The answers to most questions are always in the same vain, in fact some days I could swear it was a answering service reply. And again, no disrespect to Icon intended but lackey was an apt description.
If for some reason WGT wanted to take customer service seriously and listen to its customers I still think 2 reps around the globe would work - complications such as remote server access is still possible through encryption. A friend in Australia did work for the US Military via their servers.
As for Europe Alosso and Courteney I think Bavaria and the Isle of Man are perhaps a somewhat smaller geographical region than I envisaged lol but you can fight for the job. Of course both great candidates, but I must admit Courteney would bring a new dimension to some of the slightly odd or silly questions asked.
As for Asia Pacific. well perhaps Chad will come down to photograph Royal Melbourne and decide to take on the task as well - and respond yes, I will add that to the list of must do's only to repeatedly lose the list, and then respond next time the question is asked, great idea, never thought of that, I will add to my................
