  I was wondering  if the position came with Employee Discounts>

  You got it, most of the "applies" here are not serious at all anyway. I can promise though, that the info I posted is the official info from WGT.

  It is beyond stupid that WGT would require a moderator to be local to their headquarters.  

  These is no reason that WGT doesn't have a dozen moderators who patrol the boards, just pay them a reasonable part time salary and you will be able to get 3 for the cost of each full time worker at your Headquarters.

  In terms of security and all that, for the moderator part why would you need it.  It's just a bulletin board that people post on.  Questions can easily be replied to by the use of a remote email account, not sure I see the down side of this.

  Of course the new moderators basically give up their WGT career as far as playing golf for prizes and those valuable credits.

  Well heck.....I thnk there's already a lot of players that have given up their playing career as of late...or close to it  Seems there would be a pretty deep pool of experienced players and posters from which to choose.

  Is your score average effected by being a moderator? Or can you continue playing ranked rounds and advancements in the various tiers?

  I would rather continue having the challenges of the game on here then be capped at a certain tier and score.

  FYI Ed    Icon's knowledge of this game is superior with only a few.......just because he doesn't answer some questions direct, or too suit you, should not destinate him as a p'! IMHO

  oh BTW, he's the mod' who moderated me from the forums for life!!! ";) but I can live w/that :)
