I'm not sure what is going on but  can't hit geens on Blitz, well actually l hit most of the greens but the balls just roll off, l can land right near the pin or 80' away from it, it just keeps rolling. I bought and tried some Calloway balls, they just kept rolling, l put the backspin but they just kept rolling, l don't get it, l am out of any bonus green points because the ball just rolls off... It is not fun anymore... any thoughts?

Wedges. That'll sort out your problem. The Ping ones aren't bad for the money.

The Tour W wedges are great for that type of shot - 200 credits each. They will work very well with the B-ES ball and do stop with a couple of yards with backspin.

    Should do you proud

+1000 regarding the wedges - the worst part of the Starter set IMHO.

Add the balls. Starter balls have only minimum response to spin, notably backspin.

With all Starter equipment you will have to accept long rolls.

Wish shorter stops of the balls? Stop-on-the-dime? Then the free game is over - invest some credits to get better results.

Until you get better wedges and better balls adjust your game somewhat. Aim shorter with t/s and take advantage of the roll that the starter balls give you. Like you see the pro do at times when they have hard fast greens and play a bump and run type of game.

You have a fairly decent set of clubs for your level but as mentioned above you didn't buy wedges, which will probably help your game as much as anything.  However you mentioned blitz and in a blitz game you are only going to hit your wedges about 1 to 2 times a game.

Born is right to a point, you can play a bump and run with bad clubs to get more distance but some of the courses, like BPB for example do not allow that shot, they have severe rough in front of the greens that kill a shot hit into them.

Like others have said before, decent L40+ Ping wedges will make your life much easier. Although I doubt you'll ever be able to really stop the ball with the irons you have. Rocketballz have such a low trajectory, that you can't really expect them to stop, especially if the green is elevated. So, if you'll stick with them, learn to play the roll, it's not difficult to do on most courses. But be careful not to leave your approaches short, a lot of greens have a slightly elevated edge, so if you land on the edge of the green, your ball will shoot off into oblivion and you'll be working hard to save par.

As balls go, the slow meter Callies (L1) you bought don't really have much spin, L33 Callies tour (s) for 250 cr (50 less) have a slow enough meter but twice as much spin, so it could help. Just don't forget that the more spin a ball has, the more the wind affects your shot (both direction and distance).

P.S.: I just checked your level, you'll be eligible for G20s very soon, they're like night and day compared with Rocketballz (of any level). If you can afford that set, sell back the hybrid (completely useless club) and get 3 Ping wedges (preferably L40+ 95, 75 and 60y) you'll never need to buy another club until you reach legend.
