Speed Bar / Mouse problems

  I'm getting this as well, just about to give up on WGT which I don't want to do. Miss the 'ding' point to the right at all and it just shoots all the way over and ruined shot. My handicap's gone way up and it's becoming unplayable and unenjoyable for me now. Have tried both wireless and wired mouse by the way to no avail.

  Windows 8 on a brand new Samsung Series 9 ultrabook

  Anyone know of any cure and no, can't regress to Windows 7, thanks

  I had the same problem and I solved disabling pepper flash using Chrome and Windows 8,

  Hi Big, I just got Windows 8 and had the same problem, very frustrating!! This worked for me, hope it does for you..

  Go to the Windows 8 desktop, right click, click on 'personalization', then click on 'change mouse pointers', click 'pointer options' and move motion to fast (all the way right), click 'apply'

  I played 3 games after I did this and only had one instance of the click not hitting when I thought it would, not as good as when I had XP, but much better than the first week with windows 8... good luck!!

  Jeeez, steer well clear of Windoze 8 by the sound of it.

  One would have hoped a long time ago when it came out that the boffins at WGT would be aware and have tested out W8 for any funnies, and then perhaps have made a friendly announcement to us all warning of its' shortcomings or otherwise.

  Hey Bigblue- UPDATE... 3, 4 days later than my first post, I have the same problems I did before (same as you) really late cliks on about 1/2 to 1/3 my shots... the pointer speed seemed to work, but then it stopped... I am in a quandry, might have to quit WGT, I like playing Alt Sht, but can't subject a partner to my uncontrolled horrible shots!! WGT ICONS... do you have any advice????!!!

  Got to the point where I am ready to quit WGT for real life, lol.

  My problem is meter. This happens with three different browsers. I have cleared cache(twice). I have deleted browsing history. I upgraded internet speed and ran speedcheck...it is so fast it overtook that red F-Type Jaguar we had to watch endlessly in pop-up ads.

  My meter does not stutter. It totally stops. Usually twice. And then takes off way faster than the human eye can see. It is especially bad on putts. I have to take 8 t0 10 stop and go practice swings before i get one continuous green moving line.

  I am using Windows 8 which I recently got as a replacement OS. Was as smooth as can be for a while.

  Anybody got a fix for this. I know 3 other people with exact same problem.

  I am a CC owner so I will be forced to run CC and never play again unlessI can fix it.

  i had that problem dasil. my meter would lag big time. All i did was delete my browser and re-install it and worked very well as it used to do. 

  Dont know if this will help your meter stop lagging.

  For Windows 8 try the following below; windows may not look so pretty but may help the meter problems, and is fully reversible. 

  Navigate to Control Panel -> System -> Advanced system settings

  Then click Performance -> Settings... Under Visual Effects, select "Adjust for best performance', then click Apply.

  For starters - at least "TRY" playing a different course. That may help your game become more enjoyable. Just a thought.
