Yes but only by renting them, and that cost is not deductible from the purchase price. The rental period is also short - 24 hours by memory, so is not a lot of time to fully evaluate the club(s).

Occasionally WGT have free rental weekends, often that co-incide with a major (such as the Masters).

Sorry I am not the bearer of better news.

I really think it's time WGT considered deducting the rental price from the cost of clubs if you buy them before the rental period is over.  If you missed the end of the rental time then you'd still pay full price as usual.

Worth thinking about surely?  It would be popular with the community.

wgt would lose money and thats what its all about people....huge rakes on all premium/ challenge play confirms it....but hey they will give away a free exploding heart ball that is so obnoxious you blast it into the woods just to rid your bag of it...... backwards thinking when it comes to doing the community right

This is certainly true, they would lose the money from rentals, which for the record is overpriced IMO. But how many players do they lose that buy clubs without renting them and discover they do not suit them so leaves the game in disgust? A player who is at least satisfied will continue to play and spend

I have always said, when you rent clubs should you buy them before the rental period is over, that rental should be deducted from the purchase price AND they should only be allowed in practice mode - designed to prevent multi accounters from reaping the rewards, especially true when free rental weekends do occur.
