I buy a new driver. Three days later I'm bumped to master at level 51. Now the new driver I buy is too short distance for the master tee boxes. So of course I go shopping. The club even closest to mine with extra distance I need I only have access to when I reach level 69.

Club selection and name brand we need more of. I want to keep my clubs a matching set. I'm running Ping clubs but I don't want a Taylormade driver know what I'm saying? I'll give you $15 if you make my current Ping driver 275 yards average. Hows that? lol

And why you have 6 million members with only 6 courses to choose from? Get more courses please :)

Oh and by the way. Every time I leave a post in the forum it says this is your first post which needs to be moderated before it's posted.

The level 47 was the firsrt driver I bought when I became Master Tier. It was ok but yes is a little on the short side but was functional.

The best option is the level 58 G20 rated at 270 and can carry you all the way to legend. Also consider the New Nile Covert Driver but I don't know much about this club so would still opt for the G20 personally. It will not take long to level up to the G20.

What I do notice is you have a starters  hybrid (rated at 175?) and 2 starters wedges. These are the worst clubs in your bag and would be better off upgrading to get three wedges and dumping the hybrid. In the short term this would be a better investment than a new driver. Your 3I is rated 190 and will do a better job than the hybrid - remember to use punch shots as well.

Strictly personal opinion, but a hybrid is useless as dentures on a rattler. The short game and putting is what counts.

no, the 3 wood is. your driver is good enough to make up most distance, and if you happen to hit in the rough, a hybrid does better than 3wood

And you're entitled to your personal opinion, just as I am. Even if it's silly. Don't hit your driver into the rough.

The OP has the raptures and his 3I will do better than the starters hybrid - which for the OP is a useless club as bubbadork said. And a punched 3W will usually give a better result than a hybrid anyway (all provided the rough is not too deep.

From what you say the 3W is useless - well playing from very short tees it may well be, but can be handy from longer Masters tees.

When you get to the big boy/girl tees, you're going to need the wood for GIR on a number of holes. Your 3-iron will serve as your "hybrid", and the extra wedge will be essential for approaches.

I love Bubba. He tells the guy he's entitled to his opinion, then tells him his opinion is rubbish ! LOL

Actually from the master tees both the 3 wood and hybrid are not needed. The 3 iron punches out of the rough well and if you need 3 wood distance the driver punches well in most cases. Then you can have 4 wedges.
