It seems a bit unfair when playing a multiplayer game if the players quit no matter how far in the game you are you only get credit for those that finished. So, if you start with 4 players and 2 quit on hole number 7, the two remaining players are penalized and only get points for a 2 man game...unreal...I think no matter how many players finish, if a player completes half the rounds then that player should be counted as completed so the ones that stayed are not punished and only get points for a 2 man game.

Or at the very least, a reward proportional to how far those players who quit were in the game for. I've had people quit on the final hole, because they didn't want to damage their oh so precious average, and I get no reward for them having played that far.

Quite simply it does suck. My only advice is to play with friends you know will not quit (and if they quit your friends list needs a re-think).

I would be retired and on social security before i could create a list of friends that don't quit...got to be a better solution!

If you're out for XPs, don't play MP games.

Best source viewed from the XP/time ratio is the CDP bonus (880 in 3 mins), closely followed by 18 hole tournaments, 470 in approx. 40 mins. Advantage of the latter: You can repeat it through the day.

In MPs you always have to wait for the others, and a 9 hole A/S brings 15 shots and 280 XPs in one hour.

Thus, please, enjoy the MP with some friends or other nice people instead of - sorry - whining for unseen XPs.

I think WGT should have a no quit policy for all multi player games the only problem I can see is from all the dropped games due to Internet Provider problems.  Last few days I have had terible DSL speed, several AS games locked up on me, lag time loading between holes is terible making the game only that much longer.  Something really needs to be done about the incomplete matches, maybe make the quiters play out the match before they could play another match somehow.

WGT cannot tell why the person leaved the game due to quitting or internet/local problems. The best thing is to play with friends and take nots of players who do not finish. Also look at the players completion stats is a guideline.

I agree with what you are saying but a fair fix is difficult.

I agree here. Played 150 days in a row, many times just a ctth putting contest. And no strokes of my ball as a side benefit.
