First it was constantly having to disable the pepper drive, now my screen constantly freezes like never before, the meter is all frigged up and the game is becoming more and more unplayable by the day.

I can't even get through a 9 hole round anymore without some technical *** screwing up my game.

I don't know what WGT did, but they have really mucked this whole thing up!

You get all the problems and it's all the fault of WGT. Are you sure this is sound reasoning?

Sorry I've got to disagree. I installed Maxthon and yes the meter is a smooth as a babies butt, however, for me at least, it loads slower than a commodore 64 with a tape drive, some days I had to wait 15 minutes for the game to load and frequently 2 - 3 mins between each screen view change!

I've gone back to Firefox, meter stutter and all.

Maxthon or Comodo Dragon.  I will never use Chrome for playing ever again.

There are more options than just Maxthon 3. Comodo Dragon And SRWare Iron are both very good and load fairly quickly. But it must be something in your Maxthon 3 setup because when I use it the loads are very quick.

Right click on your task bar, in the open menu  left click on Task Manager. Look to see what CPU% usage is, if it is 100% scroll to chrome.exe processes and see what is using all the CPU. You can then highlight on that process and then click on end process. This may cause the WGT page to crash but then you can just refresh the page and resume game. I have to do this periodically (most every time I notice a stutter)don't know why chrome.exe multiple processes open but they cause things to get bogged down, this helps smooth things out.

Yeah it is very sound reasoning when I have been playing other game sites for over a decade longer than I've played WGT and have NEVER had ANY problems on those other sites EVER!

Now the newest problem that has started........ when i go to start the meter, it will stop on it's own and attempt the shot without me clicking my mouse!   It's caused me to have to withdraw from tourneys and just stop playing altogether because i dont know when it's going to happen and it's no longer any fun playing.

First a question. Is your mouse wireless or wired? If it is wireless you can get what I call false clicks if your batteries are weak or your receiver is misaligned.

If it is wired then you could have worn contacts. With contacts that are worn you lose the signal and your PC reads it as a click when in fact you are still holding the mouse button down. Contacts in a mouse only last so long and if you play WGT often they can wear out fairly quickly. And a less expensive mouse they can wear out very quickly when you have to click as often as we do when  playing here and if you play other games that require a lot of mouse clicks that just adds to the wear and tear on the contacts. Of course a wireless mouse can have worn contacts as well.

I went through 2 cheaper mice before I got my Razer Death Adder. Also you might find that the springs or what ever returns the button to neutral position gets worn and cause the button to stick down. Just try a new mouse and you should have no more problems with the meter stopping on its own and making a shot while you are still holding the button down.
