    Hi!

Does Tier affect how clubs "work"?

For instance, I have R11 irons, and they seem to be hitting differently this week after going from Amateur to Pro. I realize the greens will be faster and such, but my irons seem to come up a little shorter. It could be my imagination though, lol.

Oh- and hello to the WGT community!

No, your tier has no effect on how your clubs 'work' although there are some clubs and balls you cannot purchase before you get to a certain tier.

Much more likely it is the higher wind and or faster greens. Or of course you've just been VEMd a bit more.

yes, in a way they do.

If you tier up and your clubs are a level far more removed fro your current level/ tier your game will not be as good as if you were to club up.

Its like WGT force you to increase your equipment appropriate for that tier.

Increased green speed per tier can effect approach shots stopping on the greens.

VEM is a slang term for the random deviations that were programmed into the game.

    Unusual glitch from you, Icon.

What about US Patent No: 7,806,777 "Automatically adapting Virtual Equipment Model", owned by a certain company from San Francisco.

    Hi!

    Thank you for the replies.

Upon further reflection, I am thinking that the inconsistencies I have been experiencing are simply coincidental with my advancing from Amateur to Pro. I bought the R11 irons, and had not had enough time to fully experience their quirks until I had coincidentally tiered up. I played a few rounds with friends using the same clubs as well as others, and these quirks held up from hole to hole.

This is a very interesting game :)
