    My son has lost 3 and a half stone after having gastric sleeve operation .

    He is looking great .

    Just a brief update. My surgery went well, healing nicely. Got cabin fever just sitting around. Wanted to go back to work tomorrow but the doctor will not give me a release. Guess I'll start doing some painting around the house or try to mow the lawn. Hope you all are doing well.

    Don't try to do too much too soon or you'll undo all that good work your surgeon carried out.

    When renni  was rushed to the 
hospital following a serious tumble causing a back problem ,  the staff placed a band around his wrist with large letters warning: Fall Risk.

    Unimpressed, .he said to.his wife,

     “I’ll have them know I’m a winter, spring, and summer risk too.”

    The day after renni  had surgery on his back, a nurse came into his hospital room with a box in her hand. “Are you ready for this?”

    “What is it?” he. asked.

    “Fleet enema. Didn’t your doctor tell you about it?”

    “No.”

    She rechecked the orders. “Whoa!” she bellowed. “That didn’t say Fleet enema. It said feet elevated!”

    Nice to hear - always good to bounce from surgery, especially at our age.

    Haven't spoken with you before but hope to perhaps catch a round sometime.

    PS: don't do the lawn - trust me.
