I made a blog post on my wall apologizing to all the people I mocked when it came to VEM, pre TL, I never experienced it a single time but since I made TL in mid Jan, all I can say is wow, I get 1 decent round out of 6 in rg's and the skill I HAD has either gone or I have forgotten how to play or my game is controlled by A N Other ;-)
I'm leaning toward the latter and somehow that doesn't seem quite right and I am lost as to how to make the VEM go away or lessen so I am just belting out 10 shots a hole at sta until my average gets to 68 (probably where it would be if I didn't wd from 80% of the tourneys I play)
I honestly feel like selling everything and calling it a day, this game is no longer even any fun these days, my clubs behave like starters so I don't need them do I?
Variation is great, I enjoy the challenge of different situations on the course but when you KNOW you have hit a beauty and it goes sailing wherever it likes, something is "wrong".
Like you say, same people at or near the top day after day, really does make me wonder if they know something I don't lol
