Game files are stored on your PC for easy access during the game, but at times those files can become corrupted or out of date. Clearing your caches allows your PC to re-download the newest versions of those files. You should do this each time we release a new update.
After clearing your caches you'll want to make sure you reset any in-game options that you prefer such as flagstick animations, graphics quality or the putting grid before teeing off for your next round.
