How many points to get to L98?

  LOL, as far as I'm concerned they may as well have introduced a cure for old age, as they'll need to before I get to Level 98!

  Lets work this out:

  Level 98 needs 1,764,760 points, I currently (Level 81) have 230,465 points so I need another

  1,534,295 points.

  I try and play 18 holes a day and lets say for ease of maths I shoot a 70 and to be generous lets say I always manage tournament play (not likely but...)

  18 tourney holes = 400 points

  shoot 70 = 70 points

  CDP = 880 points

  Total daily points = 1350

  1,534,295 divided by 1350 = 1137 days or 3 years 1 month 11 days!

   

  In gaming time that's several life times, and I would imagine that if WGT are still around there are going to be many more upgrades and changes by then. I may as well go back to dreaming about marrying Emma Watson.

  Perhaps you should first aim at lvl83 (255,000 XPs for G20) or lvl 90 (487,000 for R11)? *grins*

  Don't worry about the points: There's always a monthly 18-holer and CC tournaments ad libitum!

  thanks for calculation CJ. we're same level. i think about  an idea - to rent my neighbor's kid, he can play 'practice' rounds when i'm out of here. this could decrease needed time.

  At my current xp and rate of play, I should be there in 362.5 more days. That's provided I don't get buggered on my daily play bonus and have it reset back to 1 day for no apparent reason as has happened to me 3 times already. Not that it matters though as, by my best calculations, I only lost out on about 17,000 xp as a result...or less than 5% of what I need.

  Fallout 4, Elder Scrolls VI, BF4 and the new Playstation 4 will all be out before then. Doubt I'll still be here save the occasional foray to see how some buddies are doing. Yet, I'd gladly send 3,000cr to WGT right now if I only could.

  At the rate I've been playing, I may see L98 just in time for Christmas.  ;-)

   

  Update*** maybe I should have mention that it would be Christmas 2014 as I am still 269,335 points away from L98.  Heck, it's been over a month and I still haven't made L97, which is still almost 18k away.
