im waiting till i get lvl 79 so i buy rocket blades

Great irons, just don't miss the ding, i had them, and when you made a mistake especially in winds it was compounded with the lack of forgiveness. I know i had them and got rid of them. I am hoping WGT in their infinite wisdom, lol comes out with the Ping G25s

Many legends use that G 20 and love it, but for just 5 yards shorter than the G20 driver, I think the new l48 driver will be an overwhelming success story on WGT

Yeah right...... for 2500cr it will be a overwhelming success story FOR WGT

I mean come on.....what you get compared to g20 is more forgiveness and +/-5 yrds (depending on lvl) - end of the day the G20 at lvl 58 is already super forgiving (how much more do you need!!!)...they are just  hustling you at the lower level to spend more money for something you DO NOT NEED.  I made TM with the lvl 35ish K15s - wasnt an issue....then upgraded to the G20s two weeks ago and am damn near legend now (in fact will not play match games with legends bc they'll bump me up).....Note to all: spend  wisely as you will inevitably advance quicker than you expect.

Moreover what will happen with this club is people will advance more rapidly through the ranks and have to (need to) spend more on WGT.  Overwhelming success indeed.

Anything up to Legend the New driver is a no brainer.  G20 at Legend maybe.........once you get there the extra distance.gets personal...........

I have the L79 Bladez irons.  Extra distance and more bite than G20's but yeah miss the ding by a hair especially with the wind and watch it sail far far away.  G25s for sure one day LOL....................Where I Level 98 I would just by that new driver and just stick a few wedges in my bag LMAO.  Nah fun to watch the caddie struggle :))

I  shall want to know if somebody tested the  new TaylorMade R1 TP 0,0 Driver (Aldila 65-gram shaft) (L48+) ?

Should be a great club. Unfortunately this is a wet dream for all the multis and restarts. And "honest" players will get shafted with an even longer stick (pun fully intended).

Puholino, I read what you say and understand your point, indeed I've been looking at it as I'm level 81 and I was going to wait to level 90 (now 94) for the R11S driver, but the extra distance at Master is starting to hurt, so I've been looking at the G20 and that new L48, the L48 is a medium / high trajectory while the R11S and G20 is high trajectory. I think the different trajectories may have a limiting role to play. Your thoughts?

I personally prefer the high trajectory from legend tees, especially on courses like Oly, Kia, BPB and Cong and with tail wind. However, from what I hear, the lower trajectory is good for courses like St. Andrews and RSG (except for RSG #5 with tail wind) and for head wind. But it shouldn't make much difference from shorter tees, even the master ones. I also have the L81 G20 (besides the R11) and it's a great club. if used correctly, it can match R11 well enough, so the upgrade to R11 at L88 isn't necessary, if you're short on credits. But if you can afford the R11, buy it, it's a great club and a great way to get used to the speed the R11 irons will have. But for all who are not yet close to L81, this new L48 driver is a no brainer.

Thanks for the advice, now I need to think about that forgiveness, all that extra forgiveness on that L48 R1 looks VERY tempting.

Hmm back to the Pro shop to compare L81 G20 - L48 R1 ............... again!

I'd definitely go with the G20 there. Better club for less money and you can use the difference for balls. Very forgiving as well, no matter what the stats say. They're not always correct. And the forgiveness only comes into play when you miss ding by a lot, any balls with a slower meter should prevent that from happening.

Now you can just buy a better game. Level 48 now has a driver that can hit 275 yds. I hope that WGT makes a bundle off the sale of these clubs because they are going to lose it in the credit tourneys. It used to be that you needed clubs with more distance to even out the advantage given to lower tiers by the tee box distance. Now we will have pro level players out driving us by 50 yds or more per hole. This was a bad idea for the game
