simple: with latest driver, you can drive few greens on kiwaya. on bp #2, u will land in rough 100% of of the time.
also, from the tee's non masters hit off, u will almost always end up with the wedges.
you will actually not learn the game, for when you long clubs you are often forced to put 20+ footers or chip/pitch/flop from upclose, thus learn the game
if you containly hit precise wedges, inside 10ft, then it's not really a golf course but a mini golf course, for there is no course management.
just look at the old BP chamption qualifier, MOST people couldn't get under 2 par, why? 3 reasons:
1. they couldn't drive straight
2. they couldn't manage the course (ie hit 2nd shot where you need to,so u can hit 3rd close)
3. cannot putt anything outside 10ft
many, if not most masters, have played for while (except for few 'superstars'), so they have dealt with the course, when it was at it's meanest!
in conclusion, if your goal is to shoot 50's without much effort, then perhaps this isn't your game.
p.s if you ever get a chance to see how real players, doesn't matter what tee's they hit from, it's NEVER just hit as close and go at it.
(awaits for faterson to write some obnoxious comeback that only he understands and then snaike making fun of it)
