Just my 2 cents...  Try the Max slow meter balls. A bit more expensive, but a noticable difference when compared to Callaway's slow meter version...

Now I have to say it. Quit playing for two days. Play your best 9 hole score ever on a tough track. Play a great 18 a couple days later with that practice. Rant or ponder. I think you have to keep this farce in perspective. Haven't had Tillamook cheese in a good while and I want another blitz with my man to remember good times. Never played blitz till then.....

I play in different computers, and I have one at work with a somewhat slower meter. It is using an old flash version(10.3.181.22)... with firefox, but even in this computer meter changes speed from time to time. There are days I have to click on the left line with my drive, and there are days a bit later or sooner... same with irons. I find that with a strong wind I need to click before... so I have always assumed that WGT changes the speed of the meter, to combat autoclickers... then I try to adjust in my first shot, usually choose any stroke course where I know I am not likely to lose a ball and hit my first drive and maybe another club there. After that, I know if I have a somewhat faster meter and keep trying not to be lazy. If you look at  my GIR you will see is over 91 so I assume I am not probably that wrong in my assumption. But maybe it will change a bit again in the next game... so I try to be careful in the first approaches.

Interesting to see what some who plays the drums thinks! Any drummers out there :))

I am sure WGT do slightly alter meter speeds a little within certain parameters to stop some master of the rhythm being able to auto click! I think that bits fine and just part of the game! As for slow meter balls I was playing with some (Nike ones) and thought to go back to ordinary speed....I immediately noticed a difference.  Basically the product I found to be described perfectly! My findings anyway!

Try a couple of rounds with the free balls. I think it's just a matter of what you get used to.

My thoughts exactly.  After a while you lose out on the slowing of the meter.  Usually just 9 holes or even a quick CTTH with the starter ball helps me realize the slowness of just the L33 Cally s ball.

    PaulH0070:

I fell into the trap of trying the slow meter balls to try to hold back an eratic meter and for a bit all was good. Went from Call iz to Nike lv71 to slow meter Call iz.

The jump to Nikes slowed the meter down for a day of so, then the new Nikes came out and they got faster. So i thought i'd go to the slow Calls, good for a day then sped up again and now they either fly past the ding or stop 10mm before the marker. Scores gone to hell and it's not fun.

Tried switching between normal Calls and the slow meter ones but the big difference between the speeds has gone, i just can't get that nice smooth, slow meter back :(

Is it just me or is something a bit wrong? Done the usual clear everything, blah, blah, but it's still the same. Help!!!!

I`ve suddely got the exact same problem! I`m so pissed off cause of this, and are considering quitting the wole WGT. Have gone from 62 to now nearly 66 in a couple of weeks, and cannot hit anything cause of a crazy fast meter. The guys upstairs better react to this ***, or Im out of here :((

I've been playing with Tour SD balls for the last couple of weeks because I'm running low on credits. When I first bought the RocketBladez irons, I had to switch to Srixon or Callaway balls because the meter was so fast. Now? No feel and I'm still dinging it just as much as with the high end balls.

I even wondered a couple of days ago if I'd accidentally switched to the good balls, because the meter felt so slow. But no, apparently I'd just gotten used to the meter speed.
