My putting seems to be getting worse. I dont think I`m doing anything different, the putts just arent goin in between 5 and 12 foot. Birdies and par saves are just ging into theether. Currently I`m using the level 33 ghost spider. Any tips on a logical progression from this putter? I`ve been looking at the lv77 nike. Any thoughts peeps?

    Plz!!!

Max is better if you are going to continue using your slow meter balls and cost is not an issue. But Nike 77 is perfectly good too - I have used them both. Both are a clear step up from your L33 Ghost.

Also go to game tips in the forums and read Nivlacs putting tips, Stone cold killer also has some great tips, these might need some reading, it took me a couple of times to absorb what they write, also golds putting formula gives you some ideas too.

Oh and i use the level 77 nike, it took some getting used too but with practise you'll love it

Level 77 Nike for me.  6 footers up slope have to executed very firmly and I find v long putts need less than you at first think.  However, once learned it's a very accurate weapon I find.  I once tried the L66 Spider but never found it particularly different to the one you have although both I thought good.  Anyways partly through toy shop intoxication I did get the Nike just to see and have stuck with it as find it very good....................... Putters very personal I guess but that's my little experience!

Lvl 55 Daytona Rossa for me and some of the really elite players on here.  Also the Rossa is only 725 cr as appossed to 2000cr for the Nike.

Have to agree with bsnewbert on that. The daytona rossa was my go to putter on here for a long time. excellent putter.I currently use the Ghost Putter but at the higher lvl. As for the the Nike method, it was a horrible putter for me. Another piece of advice, if you want to improve your putting get used to putting from the reverse view, you will get a better read of the greens that way.

sarge, main reason for your bad experience (with nike) is very different speed meter between nike and yours other clubs. reaction time of your finger cant adapt in short time. that took me over 3 weeks, and still isnt so good at short dist.

You are probably correct. Going from the Daytona to the nike was an eye opener. I gave up after they came out with the new ghost putter. It was just not for me, not knocking it.....

Well, took the plunge today and bought the Nike Lv 77 putter. 1st putt dropped a sweet one (albeit dead straight) in from 20 feet. The next three holes though were all bogeys :O( Cheers for the advice though guys, it was all well deliberated over. Anyway, back to the green with my shiny new putter... Next stop..... Legend!!!!!!!!!!!!
