Here's a semi-serious, semi-silly suggestion: You know how the post office in the U.S. offers "forever stamps"... one price, you can use them forever through all kinds of price hikes.
How about a "forever golf ball" here at good ol' WGT?! Maybe sell it for 20 bucks. It never wears out. It goes in the water on bad shots but magically reappears. It can't get lost. When a driving range is implemented you can drag your "forever ball" to the range and hit it as often as you like... not having to succumb to hitting those rock-hard ugly striped range balls.
And finally, you're allowed two free upgrades when WGT introduces new balls with new characteristics.
