    Hi,

I really like the game and would like to put some money in it, I am thinking of about $50.

What would you guys recommend as a good club set and putter for this price ?

I am level 38 right now, and would like to use only free unlimited balls.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanx :)

If the money is burning a hole in your pocket, the G10's at lvl42 are good clubs and moderately priced. If you can be patient, wait til lvl 59 and get the g20's. They are good enough to take you all the way to legend tier without another upgrade, and lvl 59 will be here before you know it. For the money, the Rossa putter at lvl 54 is the best value (IMO) in the game.

The level 33 Raptures are great clubs with a slower meter. They suit the free ball nicely.

As do the K15s from Ping. I did exactly what you are thinking of doing. I dropped 50 bucks, bought he K15 set, 3 Cleveland wedges, but no putter as i wanted some credits left to play in RGs.I also went with the WGT B-ES balls, they are only like 10 credits, they only give 1 dot of spin but it actually did help in comparison to the free ball, especially if you are thinking of entering the RG world or tourney world.

As Glassman said, you may want to wait.  At around L47 there is another set of Raptures that look good and at L59 you have the G20s, which i have now. They are great clubs.

However just cuz you are leveling you may not want to tier up to quickly, depends on why you are playing.

I got the K15s and entered RGs at Pro and TP and before I knew it I was Master and hitting from tees further back and those clubs didn't really do that well from the Master/TM tees, so I had to just play a lot and level up so I could get the G20s.I probably would have been better off just leveling and waiting to get the G20s first and saving myself the 3000 credits or so buying the k15seven tho they were great clubs and i loved them.

I just hit Legend now and the L59 G20s are still decent from the tips, but having the L83 g20s or the R11s would obviously be better, so just be cautious that you don't tier up to quickly and not have the better equipment available to you.

If you plan on sticking around for awhile it is certainly a marathon here and not a sprint, so be patient, plan things out and practice practice

Spending 50 bucks in your situation is like throwing money out of the window.

    My advice:

Get two decent short wedges now (Ping or up), get the cheapest balls (1 cr per 9 hole game) and wait for Tour Pro.

Take a friend to town for the remainder.

Then, earn experience, listen through the grape wine and perhaps make a decision at lvl 47 (Raptures, 12 days play) or lvl 59 (G20, 88.000 XPs).

I agree with Alosso, upgrading would be a waste at this stage. Wait for the G20s as anything less will result in another upgrade sooner than you think, it doesn't take long to get to level 59.

Also the best improvement to your game would be 3 wedges and dumping the hybrid. This will save more shots and improve your short game and you will be surprised at the difference this will make.

    My progression;

Clubs - 33 Ping Raptures and then the 59 G20's.

Wedges - Ping, then a Cleveland and waiting on the 86 ATV.

Putter - Ghost Spider then Nike Method

In hindsight if I were to do it again I would probably do the following with 5,000 credits.

Level 48 Ping Full club set - 3,295 credits

    Level 55 Rossa Putter - 725 credits

    Level 42 Ping Wedges x 3 - 600 credits

That totals 4,620 and you would have 380 to play with some different balls.

Another option I would consider would be the Level 48 Ping Rapture Irons - 1,685 and the Level 48 Taylor Made R1 Driver - 2,495. You would then have 800 credits left and would have to decide on the Rossa putter or the 3 wedges.

****Also rather than spend the $50.00 directly to WGT look at the partner offers. I have yet to give WGT money directly but there are options to get better credits through merchant offers....Bidz.com got me I think 3,700 points and my wife got a nice watch for christmas, also clothing offers.

$5.00 on a web name through godaddy will get you 2,700 points.

    Just some ideas

    Esty

Wait if you can. I didn't and 3 drivers, 3 putters and 2 sets of irons later I nearly have the perfect set up. All done with free credits.

Getting there, I am level 77, and I've been watching a lot of ads, I have 4571 credits :p

6 levels to go and I can get the Ping 83+ set :D

What wedges would you recommend ? I think of the Cleveland 56, °60° and 64°.

    Thanx for the advices!
