It's time for a 3 woods

  Hello everybody

  I hesitate between  three 3 woods clubs :

  The Taylor Made R113 wood (L30+)

  The Taylor Made R115 Wood (L41+)

  The Ping  210 Rapture (L47+)

  Which  think you that I have to buy ?

  The driver is more of a game changer than a 3W is. You use it 14-16 times a game but that 3W would only get used maybe 3-4. IMO, the driver would be a smarter purchase.

  The Rapture, unless you can wait till 84,000 XPs, level 58 and the G20. (Full set at lvl 59, 88,000 XPs)

  The Rapture 3WD will also be a good intermediate replacement for a driver at 1/3 of the costs.

  I have  a definitive  idee for a  good driver, but it's the 3 wood in question here, Yankee Jim.

  Thank you alosso, i notice the advice.

  And the R11 level 30 and 41 are good also,  if somebody knows them   ?

  I have been using the r11S for a while now and love it, really don't see a great upgrade until I am 69 and can get the RocketBallz fw wood.  May just be my playing style though.

  Watch the meter speed, too. If you have an idea of the driver you want make sure the 3W has the same speed meter if you can.

  R11s (L41) is an excellent club and plays relatively long for its rated distance of 230.  Also, forgiving.  Good luck with the search!

  i have both, R11S and 3W. no complaints. no prob with speed. if you want to wait, slow meter G20 will serve you well also. if you know how much level points you can get every day, make calculation how much days you need to get L59 - then decide: Taylor's or Ping's.

  The different qualitiy  between The Taylor Made R113 wood (L30+) and The more expensive  Taylor Made R115 Wood (L41+) is important ?

  Somebody possess the Taylor Made R115 Wood (L41+) and it is good ?

  For the G20, i hesitate, the forgiveness seems to be the problem and i shall arrive in level 59 in a fews weeks, it is long.

  The G20 ist the first set with high trajectory IIRC. This defines it's outstanding class. At 1000 XPs per day the wait is only 3 weeks - too much?

  I also deem the Rapture the best in the segment available to you.
