I currently own a driver I paid 295 credits, or possibly more for, an upgrade from starter, and want to use the 63 credits towards my new 1595 credit purchase of a driver.  The Pro Shop says it was equipped as it did for other upgraded clubs I had, but once I made a new upgraded purchase it allowed me to sell them.  I guess the question is, why can't we use the credits for trade in value rather than having to wait until we purchase the new club then selling it.  Seems that's just another way of forcing us to either earn or buy credits that we already have.  It's bad enough that the value of said club went from 295 to its current resale price of 63 credits, but it's of no use to me now, so why not let us trade them in?

It didn't say that you can't sell them, but that the clubs were equipped. It means that they are still your "chosen" clubs in your bag, so you would need to go to your equipment, and equip a different  driver (or any club you want to sell), for eg the starter driver as if you are going to use it. The driver you want to use will no longer be "equipped" so you'll be able to sell it.

Hope this helps, and made sense. :-)

    Good Luck!

    hi

you can sell the club and then use those credits to buy another. I suspect the issue is not that we can't or won't but just much more complicated to implement versus a sale and purchase transaction.

My point was that I already have a 3W that's longer than the Driver I was trying to sell, so why can't I just eliminate the driver, anyway?  Seems stupid to have to carry a club during upgrades that's useless.  Once I purchased my new Driver I was able to sell, at a very low price I might add, my old Driver.

Since I have someone of authority here now, WGTicon (handshake) when will I be able to post a comment without a review  process?  This is the second thread I've started, and I've made numerous additions to others.  Seems like no one trusts new members around here.  We're not children you know.
