Legend RG, fair to all ?

  Does anyone think wgt will ever create different flights within the Legend division? I'm a fairly competitive player (not overly) and I just like to participate. But, as a legend I have very little shot of ever being on the + side of the Legend RG payout. Ironically, as a Tour Master, I placed in several Tournies on the + side, even won once. I feel now, all Im doing is adding credits to the "Pot" for the regular + side winners to take.

  What I hope wgt will remember is that this game has been around a few years now and the Legend Division is getting very large now. I know there is another division above Legend, but in my years of playing I have only seen 2 or 3 Tour Legends while playing.

  I hope no one see's this as a "whine" post because I can just stop entering the RG's, however, RG's along with my CC has been one of the more enjoyable parts of the game as I was leveling up.   Thanks for listening,  nerve60

  I always figure I have more chance in the legend RGs as there are no TLs!

  Don't pull the brakes Courteney,

  we need more Legend tiers:

  - new Legends (ave. 61 from TM)

  - lower Legends (71 ave),

  - upper-lower Legends (69),

  - mid Legends (67),

  - lower-upper Legends (65),

  - mid-upper Legends (63),

  - upper Legends (62),

  - almost-Tour-Legend-aspirants (61),

  - Tour-Legend-aspirants (60.5),

  - Tour-Legend-candidates (60.2),

  - Tour-Legend-claimants (60.1)!

  with 200+ rounds from tier to tier. 

  Of course, tier separation of the regular tourneys with proper prizes, and a choice of separate RGs for each of them.

  WE NEED MORE LEGEND TIERS!

  What a load of rubbish - if u aint good enough - don't enter.  A tier is a tier - if u split it all the sandbagger moans will come out.....

  There are only 2 kinds of Legends. Those cheaters that beat me, and those rubbish players that lose to me. ;-)

  If afraid this is basically the WGT business model and introducing different tiers wouldn't really help... If you stop improving, basically when you are slightly on the positive earning side for tier X, you will be on the negative side when you reach tier X+1. E.g. I was often placing among the top 5 through tour master tier, now am on the slightly positive side in legend tournies and quite surely would be on the negative side after reaching the tour legend tier...

  The only options that may help are:

  - keep improving (or acquire better equipment once you tier up)

  - avoid tournies (i.e. easy courses, baby tees, easy conditions) where you would likely have low scores leading to a faster tier up

  - hope that some new conditions (like uneven lies) may make you more competitive as they may require different kinds of skills.

  I spoke to some one the other day that said they tiered up to Legend at L62.  I guess WGT are a rock and hard place to try and stop MPC sandbagging at least..

  And so yes still compete still have fun but L62 Legend and equipment to match Versus L100 and equipment to match........I know where my money would be!  

  You Sir though are basically in my boat level wise so for us it's about deciding if we want to strive to compete with the best from here on in.  I personally can't see the point of lower comps for the likes of us especially with the equipment we are about to get access to!  For the likes of us we either put the real hard yards in to get to where the cream are or don't bother.......End of in my book..my opinion!
