Ive been given the free balls for referring Friends through WgT's  referral program, haven't you?  well its an easy idea. as it is simple,  you see, If  you give WGT your Friends e-mail address, and in return they will send out a invite, that says larkinPat1 has invited you to join WGT. OK sounds like a no brainier,  when I sent in the referrals, I read in this offer that this is the only e mail invite your referral  will get , and my referral must use a link in the  e-mail, to join wgt. & this is a one  time offer to your friend, if they don't join through that one e-mail, you get nothing.  well? OK know thats the deal. at least i did after i sent the referral..

Now, In order for my refferal to know this is a one time deal,  I gotta talk, fast, set it up, tell them , not to clear there cache, yet, lol.. Oh no! check spam folder,, what if its blocked? and it gets returned to sender? will that be the end of it? .. more than likely you and your referral will be talking back in fourth, on the phone, just to make sure, its a smooth transition  Now of all things how then, are you going to Not sound like a desperate telemarketer? talk them into joining and sell the idea off it,  Tell them how much fun it is, it will be great! lol,, Oh yea! and remind him/her not to join except through this e-mail, oh yeah be sure to use the link, the correct link, not the wrong one!  don't delete that e mail , ya only get one! ... phew,   all that for sixrons? 3 balls? your referral might say to them self, or life partner.. Hmm? join WGT? and become a Teller marketer?        NOW if wgt wants me to like them on FACE BOOK I gotta say sure but i want more than 3 balls, for your advertisement pasted on my face bk page? & a link that on that advertisement letting me know, how many of my facebookfriends are heading your direction, and there friends and so on..lol this is  one time offer!

Personally, I am not too fond of friends who give away my email address without a permission. Much more honest by WGT would be to add a "did a current WGT user refer you to this site? If so, please add his or her  username here so that we can reward him or her"

But WGT are cheapos, they get a buncg of email adresses but only rewards for those who actually give them business.

Do not sell out your friends for a sleeve of balls.

You are spot on Tightrope.   I have a few real life golfer friends who I thought might enjoy WGT and I asked them if they would like an invite to the game.  Both of them logged in and tried it for a while, one of them is an active member the other never got into it.

I don't think giving out your friends email address is worth it without their permission.  Plus I think they have to actually sign up for an account to get you your free balls.   Makes me wonder how many of the millions of players that we have that created a new email account, invited themselves and set up an account just to get free balls.
