    So,last night I seen an ad for the British Open mentioning a facebook link.This morning I find nothing about this on facebook.Any one got info on this?

    probably because in the UK it is not known as the british open only the open.

    From where you live Andy, the British Open happened two days ago.

    I am from the uk, england and no the british open didn't happen 2 day's ago that was the open. 

    The Open Championship, or simply The Open (often referred to as the British Open outside the UK), is the oldest of the four major championships in professional golf.

    Do you mean Louis Oosthuizen, winner of the Open Champioship?

    (BTW, as of this writing he is 2 back at the Scandinavian Masters, with a Friday round of 70.)
