    ScottHope:
Your average score as a Legend is made up of your best 500 ranked round scores. When you play a round with a score that is better (lower) than one of the scores in that list of 500, it replaces it.
True, and a very good and transparent example, too.

Alas, the two users asking in the first time may have less than 500 rounds, resulting in a linear average calculation. They might only look forward to the average's saturation with 500 rounds and the following drops comparable to your numbers.

(Not only) until then the primary goal should be

    Have fun!

I could probably figure it out i turned legend just after the RyderCup 2012, if I could get my score history to go back that far i would just count the rd's ive played and it would give me a pretty close idea, but my score history only goes back to 1/14/13. Ne way to get it to go back a yr?

I hv played roughly 142 ranked or cc tournies or readygo's since 1/14/13, so I hv to be getting close to 500.

No. To know more we must save it ourselves.

    I thought so :)

You'll notice when you arrive at saturation due to some jumps as Scott described them. Not so fierce but some .02 - .05 drops might occur.

I think Ive just reached saturation, just shot a 28 in a cc tourney and my average dropped .05 with 1 rd. just want to say thanks for all the info fellow wgter's.

    That's it!

In a linear average it should have dropped by .02 only.

    You may have kicked out a score of 40 or 81 (*), as .05 x 500 = 25 (*) shots difference.

(*) with quite a rounding error.

Now a steep fall will follow, shaving off all the lesser good scores of the past,

and then back to sour waiting for those sub-30s...

You can check saturation by playing a ranked round above the average - e.g. a 34. If the average drops regardless, you have the proof.

If it rises, I have a problem ;)

HI Alosso - very impressed with your knowledge. I noticed in an earlier post you said you can estimate your ranked rounds by checking your stats and establishing how many days you've been a Legend and multiplying that by your average games per day. Simple stuff...but where in the name of judis priest can I find out when I turned Legend and my average rounds per day??? I can't find that detail in Stats or anywhere??? Can you please advise?

    Thanks in advance

    brad
