  Since I see there is no place to search the database for a question that might have already been answered, I'll have to ask the question in the form of a post.  What procedure is used to save someone as a friend?  I see nothing to click on to save someone and put them in your friends list.  Can anyone give me an answer?

  it;s quite simple actually:

  you can add friends via game (+ button on top left corner) or from a wgt site by searching for users wgt community --> wgt players) then on their profile click to add a  friend (top right side).

  once that person confirms, you two will become friends.

  If I understand you question correctly, you don't really save someone as your friend. 

  You either invite them to be your friend and they accept, or they invite you to be your friend and you accept.

  When that happens, there is nothing else to do.

  as Icon said, important thing is that the player confirm your invitation, button looks like "INVITES(1)". if not - invite button going to gray and "INVITES(0)". easiest way is in the game, where "INVITE" button should to be blue if someone invite you.
