  you maybe have speed boost activated. if you disable it in game options, it should go back to how it was.

  Could also be the 15 second meter hold. if so, just release your button before 15 seconds.

  I know I hate it when I hit the ball and it flies towards the green and then just sits there, aparently stuck to the sky.  I'm quite happy to have my shots finish.  I fail to see the problem.

  lol, no I just didn't really understand what the OP was asking.....and it doesn't sound like a speed boost to me because how does that finish off shots it just makes the shot that you started go faster...

  Still wondering...?
