Can somebody please tell me how you can become a legend in three months
because I've been playing this game for a year and three months and I am master
and I am a pretty good player. So please tell me if we have a cheater

For someone that plays a lot and has previous experience of other similar games. I think it could be achieved pretty easily. Or they could have restarted which isn't against the rules.

You are level 92 and have access to most of the best equipment but you are ONLY a Master, if I was you I would be more concerned about my own lack of progress rather than someone else.

Ouch!  But fair comment all the same.  To many people the OP would be regarded as a sandbagger, another of those nasty words that so often pops up around here.

This accused speedy legend could well be someone who already played the game and started a new account, as pointed out it's not against the rules, albeit something of a grey area from a moral point of view.   Whatever, they've probably put themselves at a disadvantage as they're unlikely to have a high enough level to buy clubs good enough to compete with other legends.

The title of this thread made me smile though, we have a cheater?   I don't think a really does the situation at WGT justice.  Unless it's followed by few hundred and you make cheater plural.

Well, the highlighted part is obviously not true. Since the tiering system got amended last October, people who perform well (not necessarily great) in RGs and MPs no longer need to play the previously minimum required rounds in a particular tier. So, while you needed to play at least 150 rounds to reach legend before, you can do it in under 40 now.

Winning any prize in RGs or winning a MP game will lower people's avg to a level MUCH LOWER than it actually is, so promotions are quick these days, particularly if this person is a restarter with previous knowledge of this game.

We have seen quite a few players rushing through the tiers. Some have special talent and/or methods. Add that I don't see any sense in "cheating" into a fast tier-up - wouldn't a cheat try to stay in low tiers?

Alas it's not fair to criticize so. for any high level / low tier combination without any suspicion, rather proof of wrongdoing or profitizing - it's by the rules to concentrate on different things than tiering up.

And, I was a level 90+ TM too!

OTOH I've seen one guy get from Master to Legend without a single stroke game as a Tour Master...

Apart from the people who make new accounts and know how to play the game....

It's easy nowadays.....  Play heaps of practice games to get your levels up, this will get you the best clubs and then move through the Tiers...easy.

When Wgt first started, it would take ya a few months to move to the next Tier.

In Real Golf they had to Tiger Proof thier courses and make em longer....lol

    Just Saying

I joined WGT land October 12.  OK time on hands and played a fair bit but also played the game fully buying equipment as went along and some power ups to...........I moved up to Legend easily after 2 or 3 months tops with an average of 61 at L70 something .................Not a re-starter, NO cheating required! and I played mainly stroke play working on my averages, just getting to know the courses having fun...I played it just because I enjoyed it..................................................And so it is V.V. possible................Basically it's therefore available to you and no need to think you have a cheater!

I went through those ranks often playing with someone in my boat, and he did it in that time to.I now count him as a friend.  He does not play so much now as hit Legend at L64 I think (not as keen spending on power ups as me). He may get back to it but was put off, in some part, by the dearth of equipment then available to enjoy himself with............

In fact if I spoke to a brand new player with what I know now I might tell em to hang around in a given tier a bit longer, take some money from RGs ............I just played and got fascinated to see what came next, and not sure I would do it any different again.......................
