    The putting in this game sucks.  I just played 9 holes and had 29 putts.  I did everything in the posts for how to improve putting and it is too inconsistent.  I always hit fairways and I hit greens regularly.  The putting is just not fun.  Any way to turn that part off and have it give me 3 putts every time, the game would be much more enjoyable?

    swap your ezswing putter for the starters putter and you will notice a huge improvement

    ...and add the SWING wedges, too.

    You'll find better "Starter" clubs in your inventory, no extra costs.

    +! get rid of the EZ Swing putter and wedges for the starters and you will notice a dramatic improvement.

    Wow what a difference!  I switched like you all suggested and had 29 putts through 15 holes!  I sank an 18 footer and 14 footer for birdies!  That is just silly that a "digital" putter should make that much difference!  Thanks again.  I am now trying to get credits to buy better clubs.  Do you suggest investing in driver, clubs, or putter first?

    Two short wedges IMHO, Ping or up. Those Starter wedges are the most questionable Starter clubs, and the short game is most important to fun and success.

    Be reluctant to buy rather than hurry, because you'll level up fast until 50 / 60 and there are many good clubs available. Watch the Forum - a lot of good advice here...!

    You won't need much more to have fun until Tour Pro.

    A good budget choice would be the lvl 47 (46.000 XPs) Rapture 3WD(!) as a replacement for the Starter driver. The whole club set is good, too, but the G20s may be worth the wait until lvl 59 (88.000 XPs).

    Good advice from Alosso. Wedges then driver. The game is pretty easy until you reach the Master tier, then you have to think. :-)

    +1 to Alossos advice on clubs. Just enjoy learning the game and like Courteney says, lots of practice
