We have a chap in our country club, who has just moved from Canada to Sth America and he has all the good equipment and only uses WGT Free balls.

He has pretty good darn control on those balls, has never used anything else.

He says when he turns legend He might begin using some .50c balls.

So I believe with enough  practice you can avoid the higher priced premium balls.

We are about to have a starters club/ balls tourney in our club, this will be very interesting for many.

Having said that. I also would like to see some kind of respite on loosing balls, perhaps instead of a stroke off your ball duration, it could be 5 as a penalty.

Would be interesting what price people would consider reasonable for a premium unlimited ball? Suggest work out the cost of what spent last year on limited duration one's and times by say two??  Never gonna happen any which way...nor should it IMO!

Agreed, l have spent a small amount of my own money during my progression a, and i say small!

l've watched videos until l'm sick of them and had some good surveys that have bumped up my credit account, l'm now in the pocession of the clubs l want until level 94, when l can finally get my hands on the R11s driver, a long way to go yet.

So like many other l'm now happy to open my wallet and just buy balls when l need them, maybe 20 euros a month, this is a great game, and yes frustrating at times, but if l wasn't playing this, l'd been down the bar every night, probably spending 20 euros a time.

Now a 6 pack in the evenings and playing this, cant loose IMO!

I agree with Lonnie and Jim. There are many ways to earn credits and it will only cost you some time. But that said personally I would not shell out for ball as they will only give you a very marginal effect with starters clubs. You can use all the starters equipment and make it as far as Masters Tier with it, albeit it is a long hard road.

I did some surveys and watched videos for a year - then upgraded when I made masters and the upgrade didn't cost a cent of my money, Now I prefer to actually open my wallet as as far as I am concerned, it is by far the best golf game around and is cheap entertainment for the enjoyment I get out of it.
