Hey, buying the golf balls and then loosing them in the water or weeds or after so many hits, it is gone, gets to be EXPENSIVE..... I just stay with the UNLIMITED BEGINNERS GOLF BALL........

WE need an unlimited ball for Ametuers and Pros too.... So stick a nice price tag on it.... but it would be nice not to worry about loosing balls and having to put out $5 every week or two.....

I am looking at other Golf sites that have UNLIMITED BALLS at all levels....>>>>. Give me a ball with all the bells and whistles, making the playing field LEVEL for all, not according to how much money you can put out to improve you chances.......!

We need that here too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    "What do you think ???"

    Thanks,

If you can do try and upgrade at least the ball to something better.  Do you have friends that might join? I got a few sleeves of, better than starter, free balls that way a while ago.  Several people get to master on starter equipment but an upgrade in that may help.  That's all questions for you to answer as to how they will improve your stats! I don't know how often you have tried a better ball to see what improvement is offered? IRL though there is a cost attached to golf and beyond basic format there is one attached to virtual...............If you are saying you find that cost excessive most would disagree with you!

As you play this game , there will come a time too upgrade. We all have to go through ball replacement, one way or the other. As you develop , you will find , that the game gets better, as you upgrade. The starter clubs are just that, to help you start. Do the surveys and videos for free credits. Some players think they are a waste of time, but with over 7k credits , I do beg to differ. I`ve been playing now for almost 2 years, and have not spent 1 penny out of pocket. Have upgraded all of my clubs , by doing the surveys and videos. Now all my credits go for ball replacement costs , and nothing else. So invest some time in earning the credits, and get a better ball for starters. Hope this helps. Happy Swinging

I agree with Lonnie and Jim. There are many ways to earn credits and it will only cost you some time. But that said personally I would not shell out for ball as they will only give you a very marginal effect with starters clubs. You can use all the starters equipment and make it as far as Masters Tier with it, albeit it is a long hard road.

I did some surveys and watched videos for a year - then upgraded when I made masters and the upgrade didn't cost a cent of my money, Now I prefer to actually open my wallet as as far as I am concerned, it is by far the best golf game around and is cheap entertainment for the enjoyment I get out of it.

$5 allow for 80x 9 holes with a decent ball (Tour-SD) or 500 rounds with a nice beginners ball (B-ES or B-XD). What do you want more for a week?

    Notes:

I regard the ball costs as a flexible green fee. 6 cr per round with SDs (1cr with ES) is the average cost in full course play, including some lost balls.

CTTH and Blitz may be more expensive due to more lost balls.

WGT aren't going to make any unlimited balls with any decent stats, it just isn't in their financial interests to do so.

I will differ with others here though. Yes you can spend time on surveys etc, IF you  live in an area where they are available (I don't) but they AREN'T free, you are spending YOUR time on those surveys and you are being paid slave level pay. I pay cold hard cash for all my stuff, and I think it's a much more effective use of my time as it leaves more time to play golf, (you know the main reason most of us come here). If you want you can join survey sites that will pay you REAL money for filling out surveys and they'll pay you a LOT more than the WGT surveys do, then use that cash for WGT if you like.

I agree John in that it costs you your time and surveys are often not available depending on your geographical location (seldom are available where I live). But there are many who could not afford to play this game if they cannot get credits from the likes of surveys etc. Yes if you looked at the time/earning ratio it would be poor but if time is not an issue, at least it is an avenue they can use. Many people who would do paid surveys would probably need the money for day to day living expenses. I am not advocating this is in any way is a great deal but gives many thousands of people the oppottunity to play WGT.

True enough Alan, but in my recent experience they're after the ones who have money to burn too...

Seems no-one is happy atm...will the happy medium ever be achieved ?

the least wgt can do is have no lost balls. i pay for the ball and hit in the hazard and it gone with only a few hits on the new ball. this is not fair .this is a game, not real golf the least wgt can do is let me get my moneys worth out of the balls we pay hard cash for.you do want to make the game better let all of us get our moneys worth for the balls.ONLY FAIR OR BE GREEDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

very, very true alanti..would be very hard road at master and above,im a master now,and i would really struggle with the starters...

but saying about the unlimited ball,i think there should be a little better stats on it,u got to completly change your game when you go from say a nike ball-to unlimited ball.
