The more dots of spin will negate the extra dots of distance with full back spin applied.
I use the L34 Callaway z ball, with fbs it lands further by 1-4 yards (depending on club) than the L75 Nike x with fbs, it has less dots of distance than the Nike but critically less dots of spin too and stops just as well as the Nike with the L90 R11's.
I have been given R11 yardage charts with the Nikes from top players and often wondered why my fbs landing yardage is further with each club except the PW, only thing that makes sense is the extra dots of spin on the Nike are negating the extra distance dots.
Without any spin the same Nike lands about 1-2 yards further than my ball but once spin is applied the Nike loses more than the Callie z.
In a nutshell, the higher the spin dots on the ball, the more yardage you will lose when full back spin is applied. (Especially noticeable where the spin dots are MORE than the distance dots, Callie s and Nike s for eg)
