It's because people are tired playing reincarnated tour legends.

bhahahahahahahahha Game getting played out thats all. No bug fixes no new courses , no affordable extras just basically nothing new going on here.

    Heading downhill and fast now.

I can safely say that for the first time since joining 15 months ago, l am really bored with this game in general, not specific issues, just the game in self.

l was originally aiming for the R11s driver at 94, then came the introduction of the R1 and as l was already at 93 purchased the item. So now no more incentive. l would assume WGT have had a feeding frenzy of people purchasing the aforementioned club and now the speed up boosts to 'help'.

Thats a lot of $35 a pop for this club, just makes you think how many did they sell?

l think this game is or will go down hill fast soon enough, so the marketing gurus at WGT thought well sell the R1 at level 93...............'KERCHING'

Maybe people at World Gimmick Tour, sorry WGT know something we dont, maybe there is competition on the horizon, they consider a potential threat to the business?

At the moment l am recovering from back surgery to have six screws inserted into my spine and 3 month recovery period. l thought for the 3 months l'd have WGT to keep me occupied but all l do now is play the odd CC tourney, read the forum pages and log on to collect my CDP bonus.....what for now l have the replacement for the R11s.

Maybe its just me, but the game is boring me now, l should be playing rounds all day long but no, l seem to have lost motivation and its been like it for a couple of months now.

And now the introduction of Leadbetter, obviously proving they care more about the new comers with this as far as l'm concerned "gimmick"

My take on it is, and has been for about 8 months, when they ramped up the degree of difficulty to where it became almost impossible to improve one's average through diligent practice, they reduced the "fun" factor. Less fun = less players.

So in going from master to legend in the past 8 months (grinding down my average) I have done something 'almost impossible'? Thanks for the accolade.

That may be your honest personal perspective but in reality bears no relation to what's actually happening.

From my bad shots then -wtf wtg shots = 0.1%  wtf were you thinking Paul shots = 99.9%

Too many people play a bad shot, go into denial, then shout wtf wgt.Remember this, as has been stated by wgt. Hitting the ding does not mean a perfect hit, you can see and hear a ding slightly left or right of  centre of white 'ding' line on meter, do that to the wrong side of wind and you will be quite a few yards from hole.

There are people who constantly post sub 30/60 rounds, are they all cheats? No, of course they are not. They are people who don't adopt a victim mentality and try to blame the game for their own failings.

I am not a great player ( and to some, this invalidates my opinion) but I do know that if I can hit a 28 for 9 one day and then hit 36 next day for the same 9, then it is down to me, not wgt. No matter how often I claim 'I hit the exact same shot last time'.The truth is I didn't and neither did you and even if you did, why would it give the same result.

    Paul,

With all due respect, I do not believe you have exclusive knowledge as to what constitutes "reality". I have to look no further than my score history to back up my claim that the game play was altered around the time frame that I mentioned. And no, I am not looking to lay blame for my own personal shortcomings on anyone or anything, but, in my "reality" one does not go from shooting 32's and 33's on a regular basis to 35's and 36's with an occasional 34 tossed in over an 8 month period unless something has been changed. Choppo was talking about decreases in player availability, I simply suggested this may be part of the reason, fully knowing that someone would try to discredit my statements. Have you not noticed a decline in player availability ? Would you care to comment on the topic ?

Shame you are finding that, I have not seen that at all. No disrespect but anything I have seen would not disallow improvement in your stats from a game play perspective. I have not been around all that long so can't talk about a year ago, but not see what you have in any 8 month time frame.

Just talking A/S  I can usually get a game. Any type of challenge (credits) game I avoid like the plague for all the sad reasons we hear about. A/S with some friends made on here happens often enough to an dis a blast.

    Jimbo,

And this is what puzzles me. Many have told me the same thing, and I can certainly see where if it wasn't happening to you, you would tend to think I might be samplin' the ol' meds, but, my game history does not lie. One day I just got a whole lot worse at this game and it's been with me ever since. I agree ALT, is probably the easiest game to fill, and lot's of fun, but just as a little test, go to Kiawah front nine and try to load a "Blitz" competition, my guess would be unless this post directs some traffic there, you will time out.

    Doc :)

You are absolutely correct, when I posted that nonsense I was so mangled I didn't know if it was new year or New York.
