counteract the cheating software with in-person tournaments of top players on wgt's computers

  Its the only way for wgt to retain any more crediblity. Cause everyone's gonna think the top players are using cheating software. And people won't spend as much money any more. Why bother when the compeditors could be using aimbots. So this is the only way wgt can counteract that. Have live in-person tournaments of the top players on wgt's computers. I would like it once a season.. so 4 times a year. Wgt pays all expenses and flys in, oh lets say the top 25. If ya don't show up, you're off the top player list. Film them playing, put it up on youtube or some live streaming site. Maybe youtube live like they have sometimes. Could be like a major! Maybe you can get advertising during the matches and that would pay for the travel costs. Then we can watch them play live and clicking and seeing their screens and know for sure they're not cheating. Once a year isn't enough. Cause then they just go back to their cheating ways at home. So there ya go wgt. Cause your game is gonna start going down the hole and you're gonna start losing money otherwise.

  some folks might not be able to turn up due to other real life commitments...including work / family.

  i think WGT would lose money quicker by flying in 25 top players from around the world 4 times a year, meeting all the costs.

  i do agree that something needs to be done about cheating, however, this is not it.

  i'm also sure WGT are constantly looking for ways to purge cheats and the use of cheat software, however, this may take some time to develop.....from something they can implement into the game as it stands or by developing the game onto another platform.

  who knows where the future of this game is heading. one thing i do believe is that from a business side, the game is healthy. as older players or disgruntled players leave, newer players join.

  to be fair, the game's not going down any hole.

  there is to be some big announcement soon....what it is I don't know, so we just have to wait and see.

  What an idea! WGT gives vacations to 25 people, 4 times a year to San Francisco to play golf. ;)

  Although not a bad idea like Big said not really the most ideal way of doing it. But how about this as an idea, have the winner of Major's play a round or two while recording it with tips from the player. They could do this from the hotel that the player is staying at on the trip. Would make for great promotion and material for all to learn. Win/Win situation and only asking the player for a round of golf, streamed and with a video of them explaining how they playing the round. The ideal way would be on the course they won the trip on. Would be great to see and having the player explain how they look at shots etc. priceless.

  Using WGT computers, I see scores of low 40's for 18 holes, or none of the players breaking 60. Sounds like a toss of the coin. It would be interesting to see. A controlled room with moderators, all the same equipment, none of the bells and whistles. I do not see it ever happening. It would be like opening up Roswell to the public.

  Dam Shoeman, My idea I thought had merit, asking the winner of the Majors that win trips to stream a round while on the trip with a camera so they could give tips as they play would be asking very little. Talk about feeling bad about sharing, lol.

  Giving you a hard time, which most do on here. Same as your comment about the cheat thing and hands I would not cheat at a game to win, period. Nor would I cheat on my taxes, probaby because I am an accountant and may be rare but seriously not all people would cheat even for that trip!
