I don't know if it is just me, but it seems the wind is becoming more realistic i.e. shaping the shot rather than simply having off-line.  (It is a little hard to say given I am still using the free clubs.) BTW WGT I am holding out for a set of irons with some shot making capability in them.

Why can't they have a way to purchase clubs without using a credit card? Why can't you earn them on the game by shooting low scores consistantly or something like that. It is just dumb that you have to buy clubs with your money. This is a game. You should be able to earn them on the game without wininng a tournament. (Tibbets will almost always win if he is in it.)

The people who set up the game need to eat too, so my first post was just to say:

"Get me some shot shaping clubs and I will buy dinner!"

i would be more inclined to put money if if the bought clubs would get you some options for shot shapping as well. A draw or  a slice would really help on alot of shots.

if you play the game enough, to a slight point you can do it with the meter. But you have to be righ ton it to do so. like on 4, I usually aim way out left and put some slice on it to wrap it around that bunker and get a better line to the hole. Only problem is if I mess it up the ball could end up anywhere, kinda like how I am with it in real life

10 from the pro tees is almost impossible to get it close - i don't think i've ever hit it inside 15 feet on that hole..

    same with 4.

Its not that hard. Just play it over the edge of the bunker. If you can get it to roll down the hill you are hittin in from like 120-130

I will say be careful if you try to use the meter to shape shots. The misses are pretty inconsistant at times and so the same amount of miss wont always do the same thing and sometimes the ball will go dead off the club instead of bending like it normally would on a hook/slice

The other problem is you don't have ball spin to shape with when using the swing meter.  You'll just push out left or right unless you happen to have a strong wind.

I'm sure they develop that option my allowing yuo to strike on the left or right side of the ball.
